Q: What are the measurements and how much does it hold?
A: The Navona measures approximately 21 × 13 × 4 cm. It comfortably fits a large smartphone, slim card holder or compact wallet, keys and a few small essentials. A full‑length wallet up to about 19.5 cm can fit but may be snug due to the slim depth—avoid overfilling to maintain shape.

Q: What is the strap drop and how does it wear on the body?
A: The short leather strap has an approximate drop of 19 cm on this piece, designed for hand, wrist or snug shoulder carry. Strap drop can vary slightly by production year and use.

Q: Can I add a longer strap to wear it crossbody?
A: Yes, many owners clip a longer strap to the side rings for shoulder or crossbody wear. Louis Vuitton sells separate Ebene shoulder straps, and third‑party options exist. Always check clip size and avoid overloading to protect the rings and leather.

Q: Is the Navona still in production?
A: The Navona is a discontinued style and is now found on the pre‑loved market. Availability is limited to existing vintage pieces.

Q: How does the Navona differ from the Pochette Accessoires?
A: The Navona has leather side panels and base with a slightly more rectangular, structured profile and a touch less capacity than many Pochette Accessoires versions. The included short strap length also differs by model and year.

Q: Where is the date code and does every piece have one?
A: Vintage Navona bags typically have a date code stamped on a small leather tab or directly on the lining inside the pouch. Note that date codes indicate production date and factory but are not unique serial numbers and alone do not verify authenticity. From 2021 onward Louis Vuitton moved to microchips instead of printed codes, though this vintage piece predates that change.

Q: What materials is this made from and what’s the lining like?
A: It is crafted from Damier Ebene coated canvas with brown leather trim and gold‑tone hardware, with a red textile lining and a zip‑top closure—durable, lightweight and designed for regular use.

Q: Is Damier Ebene canvas water resistant?
A: The coated canvas is water resistant and easy to wipe clean, but not waterproof. Avoid soaking, and dry promptly if exposed to rain. Keep away from harsh chemicals and alcohol‑based products which can damage the coating and leather.

Q: How should I care for this vintage piece?
A: Wipe the canvas with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild soapy water if needed; then dry with a clean cloth. Store lightly filled in a breathable dust bag, away from heat and direct sunlight. Avoid colour transfer from dark textiles and take care not to overload the strap or rings.
