Q: What typically fits inside the Speedy Bandoulière 25?
A: It’s a compact yet roomy mini‑duffle. Expect space for a large smartphone (including most Pro/Max models), a continental wallet, keys, slim sunglasses in a soft sleeve, a small cosmetics pouch, passport and other small daily essentials. A 500 ml water bottle can usually fit horizontally; iPad mini‑sized tablets may fit, though the curved zip opening can make larger tablets awkward. Please refer to the Measurements on this page or ask us for a tailored fit check for this exact piece.

Q: Is the strap adjustable or removable? Can I wear it crossbody?
A: Yes—the shoulder strap is detachable and adjustable for shoulder or crossbody wear. This piece shows approximately a 55 cm strap drop and a 10 cm handle drop. If you’d like guidance on how it sits on your frame, just ask and we’ll advise.

Q: How secure is the closure and what is the interior layout?
A: The Speedy B 25 features a top zip closure for good day‑to‑day security. Interiors commonly include a main compartment with one or more pockets; exact pocket layout can vary by season. Please review our listing photos for the precise configuration of this piece.

Q: What is the “Match” limited edition?
A: Louis Vuitton’s “Match” collection was a seasonal, tennis‑inspired release featuring Monogram canvas with white leather accents and a detachable tennis ball‑inspired coin purse. As a limited edition, it is generally no longer available at retail; the pre‑loved market is the best way to find it.

Q: Is the tennis ball‑inspired coin purse functional and detachable?
A: Yes—it’s detachable and can be used for small items such as coins, earphones/AirPods or keys. It clips onto the bag or strap. As with all charm pouches, avoid overstuffing or attaching excessive weight to prevent stress on the clip and leather.

Q: Will my iPhone Pro/Max fit?
A: Most Pro/Max phones fit comfortably along with other essentials. Very bulky cases can make the fit snug near the zip opening. Compare your device’s dimensions with the Measurements shown, or ask us to perform a quick fit check for this item.

Q: How should I care for the Monogram coated canvas, white leather trim and hardware?
A: Wipe coated canvas with a soft, dry cloth; avoid harsh cleaners and prolonged heat. The white leather trim can be susceptible to colour transfer from dark denim and other dyes—be mindful of contact and avoid moisture. If lightly wet, blot (don’t rub) and let it air‑dry away from heat. Store the bag lightly stuffed, upright, in a breathable dust bag. To minimise hardware hairline scratches and imprints, avoid abrasive surfaces and keep metal parts from rubbing against leather during storage.

Q: Can I swap the strap for another?
A: The Speedy Bandoulière has side rings, so many owners alternate with other lightweight LV straps. Using very heavy aftermarket chains or clips can mark the rings or stress the leather, especially the white trim. We don’t recommend modifications that require tools or adhesives. If you’d like guidance on compatible strap widths or colours, ask us and we’ll advise.

Q: Where are the brand markings and codes located, and where is this piece made?
A: You’ll find an interior heat‑stamp (e.g., “LOUIS VUITTON Paris” and the country of origin). Older pieces typically include a date code; from around 2021 LV transitioned to an embedded microchip instead of a visible code. Placement and format vary by era. Our listing indicates this piece is made in France; the interior stamp will reflect the country of manufacture. We’re happy to share close‑up photos on request.

Q: What accessories are included and how do you authenticate?
A: Included items for this piece are listed under “Accessories”: detachable shoulder strap and detachable pouch. If an accessory isn’t mentioned there, it isn’t included—feel free to ask us to confirm. Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, assessing materials, stitching, hardware, stamps, date code/microchip and overall construction. We stand behind the authenticity of every piece we sell.
