Q: Is this Louis Vuitton LV Confidential Bracelet authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What is it made from? Is it real gold?
A: The bracelet is crafted from Louis Vuitton’s Monogram coated canvas with gold‑tone plated metal hardware. This piece also features an LV logo charm and a Yayoi Kusama pumpkin charm. The metal is gold‑tone plated, not solid gold.

Q: Is this part of the Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama collaboration?
A: Yes. The distinctive pumpkin charm is a signature motif associated with Louis Vuitton’s collaborations with artist Yayoi Kusama.

Q: How does it fasten and is the closure secure?
A: It features a magnetic closure integrated into the gold‑tone hardware. Align both sides until the magnet fully engages. As with all fashion jewellery, avoid hard impacts and check the clasp is fully closed before wear.

Q: What are the measurements and how will it fit?
A: The wearable perimeter is approximately 17.5 cm and the strap width is about 0.7 cm. For best fit, measure your wrist snugly and compare to the 17.5 cm perimeter—allow a little ease for comfort. If you’d like us to confirm the inner diameter or provide fit guidance, just ask and we’ll measure it for you.

Q: Is it adjustable or can it be resized?
A: No. The LV Confidential bracelet is a fixed‑length strap design and cannot be resized. If you’re between sizes, we’re happy to advise on fit or styling (for example, stacking with slimmer bangles for stability).

Q: What hallmarks or stamps should I expect?
A: Louis Vuitton typically engraves the brand signature on the metal hardware, and charms may feature additional motif detailing. Placement can vary by season. Our listing photos show any stamps present on this bracelet.

Q: How should I care for the canvas, enamel and gold‑tone finish?
A: Keep the bracelet dry and avoid perfume, lotions, hairspray, hand sanitiser and cleaning chemicals. After wear, wipe gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Do not soak or use ultrasonic/chemical dips. Store separately in a pouch or box to minimise scratches and wear to the plating and charm enamel.

Q: Is it suitable for sensitive skin? Is it nickel‑free?
A: Fashion jewellery alloys and platings may contain nickel. If you have sensitivities, monitor comfort, consider applying a clear barrier product on contact points, and discontinue wear if irritation occurs. We’re happy to advise further if needed.

Q: Does the magnet affect watches, cards or medical devices?
A: The closure contains a small magnet. Keep it away from magnetic‑stripe cards and sensitive electronics where possible. If you use a medical implant such as a pacemaker, avoid placing the bracelet directly over the device and consult the device guidance if you have any concerns.

Q: Can the pumpkin charm be removed?
A: The charm is attached to the bracelet’s hardware and is not designed for routine removal. Detaching it may damage the piece; we don’t recommend modifications.

Q: What condition should I expect, what is included, and can I return it?
A: This bracelet is in Very Good Condition with light signs of careful wear possible unless noted otherwise. This listing includes no accessories unless specifically shown. Returns are accepted under our standard policy—please see our Returns page for eligibility, timeframes and conditions, and ensure the item is returned in the same condition received.
