Q: What is the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M 41.5mm ca 2015?
A: It’s a Swiss‑made, stainless‑steel sports‑elegant watch with a 41.5mm case, black “teak‑pattern” dial, date at 3 o’clock, and a transparent case back. Rated to 150 metres, it houses Omega’s automatic Co‑Axial movement and is known for versatile wear from office to seaside. The reference for this configuration is 231.10.42.21.01.001, circa 2015.

Q: Which movement does it use and what is the power reserve?
A: This Aqua Terra typically features Omega’s Co‑Axial automatic movement (often Calibre 8500) with a twin‑barrel architecture and an approximate 60‑hour power reserve. Exact calibre may vary; we’re happy to confirm the movement in this specific piece on request.

Q: How do I wind and set the time/date correctly?
A: Unscrew the crown anti‑clockwise. Position 0: manual wind (about 20–40 turns if the watch has stopped). Position 1: the “time‑zone” setting—jump the hour hand forward/backward to set local time; rolling the hour past midnight will change the date. Position 2: set the minutes and synchronise the time. As a general precaution, avoid changing the date between roughly 8pm and 2am. When finished, push the crown in and screw it down snugly.

Q: Is it water‑resistant and can I swim with it?
A: The Aqua Terra is rated to 150 metres when new. With vintage/pre‑owned watches, water resistance cannot be guaranteed without recent servicing and pressure testing. We recommend avoiding swimming or showering unless the seals have been replaced and the watch has been professionally tested. Always ensure the crown is fully screwed down before any exposure to moisture.

Q: What crystal and lume does it have?
A: This generation is fitted with a scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal (often with anti‑reflective treatment) and luminous hands/indices typically using Super‑LumiNova for low‑light legibility. We can confirm specifics for this exact watch on request.

Q: How does 41.5mm wear, and will the bracelet fit my wrist?
A: 41.5mm offers a balanced, modern presence that suits medium to larger wrists and wears comfortably unisex depending on style. This piece currently fits up to approximately 18.5cm. We can size the bracelet prior to dispatch; additional links may be sourced subject to availability—please share your wrist measurement for guidance.

Q: Can I swap the bracelet for a strap, and what is the lug width?
A: The Aqua Terra looks excellent on steel, leather or rubber. Many 41.5mm models use a 20mm lug width, but end‑link fit varies—contact us to confirm compatibility for this exact reference and to discuss strap options. Ensure any strap change is done carefully to avoid scratching the lugs and have water‑resistance re‑checked if you intend to swim.

Q: Is it anti‑magnetic?
A: Calibre 8500 models feature a silicon (Si14) balance spring, offering improved resistance to magnetism and shock versus earlier generations. However, it is not the later “Master Chronometer” spec. For best performance, keep the watch away from strong magnetic sources (phone cases with magnets, speakers, MRI equipment). If magnetised, a watchmaker can demagnetise it quickly.

Q: How does the Aqua Terra compare to the Seamaster Diver 300M?
A: The Aqua Terra is a refined, everyday “land‑and‑sea” sports watch with clean lines and 150m resistance; it lacks a rotating bezel and helium valve, making it slimmer and more versatile with smart attire. The Diver 300M is purpose‑built for diving with a timing bezel and 300m rating, wearing more tool‑like in style.

Q: What service interval and care do you recommend?
A: Omega and independent specialists generally suggest servicing every 5–10 years, or sooner if you notice accuracy issues, moisture or reduced power reserve. Keep the watch away from strong magnets and chemicals, rinse after saltwater exposure (if tested water‑resistant), and wipe it with a soft microfibre cloth after wear.

Q: What is included, and how do you guarantee authenticity?
A: Please refer to the Accessories section of this listing; this piece notes a certificate and hang tag. A Retro Tale professionally inspects and authenticates every watch and provides a 12‑month mechanical guarantee. We offer free, fully insured DHL shipping, a 14‑day return policy, and 0% customs fees for EU buyers. If you’d like movement, reference or serial details verified, we’re happy to assist.
