Q: What is the Omega Seamaster 150M Aqua Terra Ref. 2503.50?
A: It’s a 41mm stainless steel Omega Aqua Terra with a black dial, date at 3 o’clock, 150‑metre water resistance, sapphire crystal, and a transparent case back. It’s powered by Omega’s automatic Co‑Axial Calibre 2500 and is designed as a versatile, elegant everyday watch bridging dress and sport styles.

Q: Is it water‑resistant and can I swim with it?
A: The Aqua Terra was originally rated to 150 metres. However, water resistance on vintage watches is not guaranteed without recent servicing and pressure testing. We recommend avoiding swimming or showering unless the crown is fully screwed down and the gaskets have been checked/replaced and the watch pressure‑tested by a qualified watchmaker.

Q: How do I set the time and date?
A: Unscrew the crown anti‑clockwise. Position 1: manual wind (about 20–30 turns if the watch has stopped). Position 2: quickset the date. Position 3: set the time. Avoid changing the date between approximately 8pm and 2am to protect the mechanism. When finished, push the crown in and screw it down firmly.

Q: What movement does it use and how accurate should it be?
A: It uses the Omega Co‑Axial automatic Calibre 2500. Most Aqua Terra models of this era are chronometer‑rated, with expected accuracy around −4/+6 seconds per day when properly maintained. Actual performance can vary with age and service history.

Q: Does it have a sapphire crystal and display back?
A: Yes. The watch features a scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal on the front and a sapphire transparent case back showcasing the Co‑Axial movement.

Q: What is included with this watch?
A: This piece is a full set delivered with original box, booklet, cards and extra links. A Retro Tale authenticates every item and provides a 12‑month mechanical guarantee.

Q: Can the bracelet be resized, and what is the lug width?
A: Yes—we can size the bracelet for your wrist before shipping, and extra links are included. The 41mm Aqua Terra typically uses a 20mm lug width, so most quality 20mm straps will fit. For best results, use Omega OEM parts or well‑made curved end‑links.

Q: How often should it be serviced?
A: Mechanical watches generally benefit from a routine service every 5–8 years, or sooner if there are timekeeping or water‑resistance concerns. Keep the watch away from strong magnets, shocks and moisture, and have seals checked periodically.

Q: Is the crown screw‑down and is there lume on the dial?
A: Yes—the Aqua Terra has a screw‑down crown to help ensure water resistance, and the dial/hands typically feature Super‑LumiNova for legibility in low light.

Q: How does the Aqua Terra compare to the Seamaster Diver 300M?
A: The Aqua Terra is the elegant, do‑everything model with 150m water resistance and a clean dial without a rotating bezel—ideal from office to weekend. The Diver 300M adds a unidirectional bezel and a more tool‑oriented design specifically for diving.
