Q: Are these Cartier d'Amour Earrings authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: Is this the same as the Diamants Légers collection?
A: Yes. Cartier renamed the popular Diamants Légers collection to Cartier d'Amour. The design remains the iconic bezel‑set diamond style, and this "Mini" model corresponds to the XS size from the previous naming convention.

Q: What is the carat weight of the diamonds?
A: The Mini model typically features a total diamond weight of approximately 0.08 carats for the pair (0.04 carats per earring). The polished 18k white gold setting is designed to enhance the visual size and sparkle of the stones.

Q: How big are they and how will they look on the ear?
A: These earrings measure approximately 0.4 cm (4 mm) in diameter. They are the smallest size in the collection, offering a subtle, minimalist aesthetic that is perfect for everyday wear or for styling in a second piercing.

Q: What material are they made from?
A: They are crafted from solid 18k white gold. The cool silver tone of the metal blends seamlessly with the diamonds for a modern, understated look.

Q: How do they fasten?
A: This pair features a screw‑back closure mechanism. This provides superior security compared to standard butterfly backs, ensuring the earrings stay safely in place during daily wear.

Q: Are they suitable for sensitive skin?
A: 18k gold is a high‑purity metal that is generally well‑tolerated. However, if you have specific metal allergies, please be aware that white gold alloys often contain other metals. If irritation occurs, we recommend discontinuing wear.

Q: How should I care for these diamond earrings?
A: To keep the diamonds sparkling, gently clean them with warm water, a mild soap‑free cleanser, and a soft brush to remove oils and residue. Dry with a soft, lint‑free cloth. Store them in the provided box to prevent scratches from other jewellery.

Q: What condition should I expect and what is included?
A: These earrings are in Very Good Condition, meaning they have been well‑cared for with only light signs of wear possible. They come with a box. Please review the close‑up images to see the exact condition.

Q: Can I return them?
A: Yes, returns are accepted under our standard policy. Please check our Returns page for specific timeframes and eligibility conditions. The item must be returned in the same condition it was received.
