Q: Are these earrings suitable for non-pierced ears?
A: Yes. This pair has a clip-on closure, so it can be worn without pierced ears.

Q: Can I wear these if I have pierced ears?
A: Usually, yes. Many people with pierced ears still wear clip-on styles for the look and fit, as long as they find the pressure comfortable.

Q: How large are these earrings?
A: They measure approximately 5.8 cm in height, 1.5 cm in width, and 1 cm in depth. This gives them a long, elegant dangling look rather than a small stud fit.

Q: What are the main design details of this pair?
A: These vintage Chanel earrings are made in gold-tone metal and feature blue and red stones with the iconic CC logo. Their multicolour finish and drop silhouette make them a strong statement piece.

Q: What condition are the earrings in?
A: They are listed in Very Good condition with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny and shows light surface scratches consistent with gentle vintage wear.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This pair is listed with no additional product information items included. No original box or authenticity card is noted for this piece.

Q: Do vintage Chanel earrings always have the same hallmark or stamp?
A: No. Chanel hallmarks can vary depending on the era and style, and some vintage pieces differ in how they are marked. A hallmark is useful, but it should never be the only factor used when assessing authenticity.

Q: Are clip-on earrings comfortable for long wear?
A: Comfort is personal and depends on your sensitivity and fit preference. Clip-on earrings can feel firmer than post-back earrings, so if you are new to clip-ons, it can help to wear them for shorter periods at first and position them carefully on the lobe.

Q: How should I care for vintage Chanel costume jewellery like this?
A: Put them on after applying perfume and make-up, keep them away from moisture and harsh chemicals, and wipe them gently with a soft dry cloth after wear. Store them separately so the metal and stones do not rub against other pieces.

Q: Can clip-on earrings like these be repaired or converted?
A: In many cases, a skilled jeweller can adjust or repair clip fittings, and some buyers choose to convert vintage clip-ons to posts. However, any alteration may affect the originality of the piece, so specialist handling is always recommended.

Q: How do you authenticate this pair?
A: At A Retro Tale, pre-owned luxury pieces are reviewed by specialists who assess overall construction, finish, hallmarks, and design consistency before listing. This helps ensure the piece aligns with the standards expected of authentic vintage Chanel jewellery.
