Q: What fits inside this Mini Double Sided bag?
A: This is a petite, evening-sized bag with dimensions of approximately 16.5 × 13 × 8 cm. It is designed to hold small essentials such as a compact, lipstick, keys and a cardholder. Due to its compact width and divided interior, it may not accommodate larger smartphones (like Max/Plus models) comfortably. We recommend verifying the dimensions of your specific device against the bag’s measurements before purchasing.

Q: Can I wear this bag crossbody?
A: The interwoven chain and leather strap has a drop of approximately 33 cm. This length is designed for comfortable shoulder carry (sitting high under the arm) or hand carry. It is generally too short to be worn as a standard crossbody bag.

Q: How does the "Double Sided" design work?
A: This unique design features two distinct compartments, offering two different looks in one bag. One side features quilted patent leather with a classic CC turn-lock closure. The reverse side is detailed with a romantic black lace overlay and secured by a vintage-style kiss-lock (clasp) closure. Both compartments have their own separate storage space lined in satin.

Q: What materials is this bag crafted from?
A: This specific piece combines black quilted patent leather with a delicate black lace overlay on the kiss-lock compartment. It is finished with gold-tone hardware and a black satin interior lining.

Q: How should I care for patent leather and lace?
A: Patent leather is durable but susceptible to colour transfer; avoid storing it in contact with other leathers or dark fabrics (like denim) for long periods. The lace section is delicate—be mindful of sharp objects or jewellery that could snag the fabric. Store the bag upright in a dust bag with the chain tucked inside (padded with soft cloth) to prevent impressions on the patent finish.

Q: When was this bag manufactured?
A: The serial number 13715788 indicates that this bag was produced approximately between 2009 and 2010 (Series 13).

Q: What is the condition of this specific item?
A: This vintage piece is in Very Good condition with light traces of use. The exterior and interior are well-preserved, and the hardware remains shiny with only light scratches. Please refer to the condition rating and photos for a detailed view.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: This bag comes with its authenticity card, brand booklet and the internal serial number tag. Please note that a dust bag or box is not listed in the "Accessories" section and is therefore not included.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in-house experts. We perform multi-point checks on materials, stitching, hardware, the serial sticker format (consistent with the 13-series era) and overall construction to ensure authenticity. We stand behind the genuineness of all items we sell.
