Q: What typically fits inside the Chanel Brilliant Wallet on Chain (WOC)?
A: The Wallet on Chain is designed to bridge the gap between a wallet and a small handbag. It typically holds a smartphone (fitting most standard and Pro models, though Max sizes can be snug), a lipstick, keys, and essential documents. With built‑in card slots and a zipped compartment, it removes the need for a separate wallet. Please refer to the Measurements on this page or contact us for tailored fit advice for this exact piece.

Q: Can I wear this bag crossbody?
A: The Chanel WOC is renowned for its versatility. The long chain strap is traditionally designed to allow for crossbody or shoulder wear. You can also tuck the chain inside to carry it as a clutch or loop it under the flap to shorten the drop for a shoulder‑bag look. We list the specific strap measurement for this item in the Measurements section—please check this to ensure it suits your preferred carrying style.

Q: What defines the 'Brilliant' line from Chanel?
A: The Brilliant line is characterised by its distinctive, oversized CC logo on the front flap, which features a textured, jewel‑like finish. It is most commonly crafted in quilted patent leather, giving the bag a glamorous, high‑shine aesthetic that differs from the classic turn‑lock styles.

Q: How should I care for black patent leather?
A: Patent leather is durable and water‑resistant, but it requires specific care to maintain its glossy finish. Avoid prolonged contact with other leathers or dark fabrics to prevent potential colour migration. It is also important to store the bag away from extreme heat and humidity, which can damage the coating over time. Fingerprints can be wiped away gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth.

Q: How secure is the closure on this model?
A: The Brilliant WOC typically features a snap‑button closure beneath the front flap (unlike the turn‑lock found on Classic Flaps). It provides good security for daily use, though we recommend avoiding overstuffing the bag to ensure the snap aligns and closes easily.

Q: What is the interior layout?
A: This model is designed for organisation, typically featuring multiple card slots, a zipped coin pocket, a slip pocket, and a main open compartment for your phone and other small items. It functions as a highly organised wallet that you can wear.

Q: How do you authenticate this item?
