Q: What are the main features of this Christian Dior J'Adior Velvet Choker Necklace?
A: This piece features black velvet, silver-tone hardware, and crystal embellished J'Adior lettering. It fastens with an adjustable lobster clasp and is offered as a pre-loved item.

Q: What size is the necklace?
A: The listed necklace perimeter is 37 cm. As it is designed as a choker, it is meant to sit closely around the neck, and the adjustable clasp allows a more personalised fit within that style.

Q: How should a choker like this fit?
A: A choker should feel close and secure without feeling restrictive. If you prefer a looser neckline fit, it is best to compare the 37 cm measurement with your own neck measurement before purchasing.

Q: Is this necklace comfortable to wear?
A: Velvet chokers are often chosen for their soft feel against the skin, and this style is relatively lightweight. Comfort will depend on your preferred fit, so it is ideal for someone who enjoys close-fitting jewellery at the neckline.

Q: Can it be worn on its own or layered?
A: Yes, this style works beautifully as a statement piece on its own, but it can also be layered with longer necklaces for a more styled look. It pairs especially well with open necklines, shirts, knitwear, and eveningwear.

Q: What condition is this necklace in?
A: It is listed in very good condition overall, with light traces of use. The velvet is noted as slightly worn, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful pre-loved wear.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This necklace comes with a box and dust bag. Everything included with the purchase is listed in the product information for this item.

Q: How should I care for the velvet and crystal details?
A: Store the necklace in its dust bag or box when not in use, and keep it away from water, perfume, hairspray, and creams. Wipe the metal gently with a soft dry cloth, and avoid rubbing or saturating the velvet ribbon, as delicate fabric can mark or flatten over time.

Q: Will the silver-tone hardware or crystals need special care over time?
A: Yes, like most fashion jewellery, the finish can show wear if it is frequently exposed to moisture, oils, or cosmetics. Careful handling and proper storage will help preserve the shine of the hardware and the sparkle of the crystal lettering.

Q: How is authenticity assessed for a pre-loved Dior necklace?
A: Pre-loved Dior jewellery is typically assessed through a combination of branding and hallmark details, material quality, construction, hardware, and overall finish. These checkpoints help confirm that the piece is consistent with authentic Dior production.
