Q: What are the measurements of the Christian Dior Oblique Vertical Saddle Pouch?
A: The pouch measures approximately 18 × 9.5 × 3.5 cm, with an approx. 57 cm chain drop. This compact, vertical format is designed for streamlined carry; please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact figures.

Q: What typically fits inside?
A: A large smartphone (including most Pro/Max sizes), a slim cardholder or a few cards, keys and a lipstick will fit comfortably. A standard passport can also fit vertically. Bulky wallets or sunglasses cases are unlikely to fit due to the slim profile—packing flat items works best.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody and is the chain adjustable or detachable?
A: Yes, the approx. 57 cm drop allows shoulder or crossbody wear on most builds. Some Vertical Saddle Pouch runs have a detachable chain; for this specific piece, please check the photos and product information or contact us if detachability is essential.

Q: How secure is the closure?
A: It has an asymmetric magnetic flap with the signature ‘D’ stirrup charm. The magnet keeps contents secure during day-to-day use; as with any small pouch, avoid overfilling to maintain proper closure and shape.

Q: How does this differ from the Small/Medium Saddle Pouch with Chain?
A: The Vertical Saddle Pouch is taller and slimmer, optimised as a phone-and-essentials pouch. The Small/Medium Saddle Pouches are wider and often include extra internal organisation (e.g., multiple card slots and a removable zipped insert), making them better mini-bag alternatives if you need more compartments.

Q: What materials is it made from?
A: Blue Dior Oblique jacquard canvas with blue leather trim, aged gold-tone hardware and beige fabric lining—crafted in Italy. The jacquard is durable for daily use while remaining lightweight and refined.

Q: How should I care for Dior Oblique jacquard and leather trim?
A: Brush off surface dust with a soft, dry cloth, then spot-clean gently with a barely damp, lint-free cloth on the fabric areas. Avoid harsh chemicals, soaking, or vigorous rubbing. Keep away from prolonged sunlight, oils and dark denim that may transfer colour. Store lightly stuffed in a breathable dust bag to maintain shape.

Q: Is it water-resistant?
A: The jacquard canvas and leather trim are not waterproof. If exposed to light rain, blot gently and air-dry at room temperature. Avoid heat sources and do not use household cleaners.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is always listed under product information. For this piece, it is listed with no additional items beyond the pouch itself.

Q: How do you authenticate this item?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous multi-point checks by our in‑house experts, including materials, stitching, stamps/date codes and hardware details. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and can share further details on request.
