Louis VuittonMonogram Serviette Conseiller Briefcase

Q: Is the Louis Vuitton Monogram Serviette Conseiller Briefcase made entirely of leather?
A: This model combines Louis Vuitton’s signature Monogram coated canvas with leather trim and a leather top handle; it is not an all-leather briefcase. This piece is brown.

Q: What are the dimensions of this briefcase?
A: It measures approximately 38 cm wide, 28 cm high and 5 cm deep. The listed handle measurement is 4 cm.

Q: Will this briefcase fit my laptop or A4 documents?
A: The external dimensions suggest room for A4 documents, but usable space depends on the interior compartments and opening. Laptop fit has not been confirmed for this item. Compare your laptop and its protective sleeve with the measurements, and ask for internal measurements before purchasing if fit is essential.

Q: Can this briefcase be carried over the shoulder?
A: The Serviette Conseiller is a top-handle briefcase intended for hand carrying. No shoulder strap is listed in the product information, so do not assume one is included or that this item supports shoulder carrying.

Q: What condition is this particular briefcase in?
A: It is graded Good Condition. The exterior has fraying and wear along the edges, with sticky residue on the edges. The interior shows light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product photographs alongside these condition details.

Q: Does the sticky residue mean the interior lining is deteriorating?
A: The condition report identifies sticky residue on the edges, not deterioration of the interior lining. The interior is described as good with light traces of use. The cause of the residue is not specified, so it should not be assumed to be a lining issue. Ask for further details if this affects your purchase decision.

Q: What comes with this briefcase?
A: A dust bag is listed in the product information. No other accompanying items are listed; please ask for confirmation if a particular extra is important to you.

Q: Where was this briefcase made?
A: The country of origin is listed as France.

Q: How should I care for this pre-owned Monogram briefcase?
A: For routine canvas cleaning, Louis Vuitton recommends a soft, damp cloth with slightly soapy water, avoiding the printed portions. Do not apply solvents, oils or leather lotions to the canvas, and avoid soaking the leather trim. Keep the briefcase away from prolonged sunlight, heat and humidity, and store it in its dust bag. Given the existing edge wear and sticky residue, seek a professional assessment rather than trying aggressive cleaning or scraping.
