Q: Are these earrings suitable for non-pierced ears?
A: Yes. These Saint Laurent earrings have a clip-on closure, so they are designed to be worn without pierced ears. If you do have pierced ears, you can still wear them as clip-ons if that is your preference.

Q: What size are these earrings?
A: They measure approximately 5.5 cm in height, 2.5 cm in width, and 0.5 cm in depth. This gives them a noticeable statement look while still being easy to style for day or evening wear.

Q: What are these earrings made from?
A: The product information lists gold-tone metal with a coin motif. They are vintage fashion jewellery rather than solid gold earrings.

Q: Are clip-on earrings comfortable to wear?
A: Comfort can vary from person to person, but clip-on earrings are generally a good option for non-pierced ears. As with many vintage clip-ons, they may feel snug after several hours, so some wearers prefer to position them carefully or take short breaks during extended wear.

Q: What condition are these earrings in?
A: They are listed in very good condition. The hardware remains shiny and shows light scratches, which is consistent with careful vintage use.

Q: Do these earrings come with the original box or authenticity card?
A: No original box or authenticity card is noted in the product information. The listing mentions tags only, so anything not specifically listed should be considered not included.

Q: How should I care for vintage gold-tone earrings?
A: Wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear and keep them away from water, perfume, hairspray, and lotions. To help preserve the finish, store them separately in a dry place and avoid rubbing them against other jewellery.

Q: How do you authenticate vintage Saint Laurent earrings?
A: Authenticity is typically assessed through a combination of design details, branding, construction, metal finish, fastening style, and any stamps or markings present. At A Retro Tale, vintage items are vetted before sale, so you can shop with confidence.
