Q: What is this necklace made from?
A: This vintage Tiffany & Co. necklace is crafted in sterling silver and features a Crown of Hearts pendant with a central diamond accent and a spring ring clasp.

Q: How long is the chain, and where will it sit?
A: The necklace measures 41 cm in perimeter, which is very close to a standard 16-inch chain. On most people, that sits at or just below the collarbone, although the exact drop depends on your neck size and styling preference.

Q: How large is the pendant?
A: The pendant measures approximately 1 x 1 cm with a depth of around 0.2 cm, giving it a delicate and understated look.

Q: Is it suitable for everyday wear?
A: Yes. Its compact size and sterling silver construction make it easy to wear day to day. As with most fine vintage jewellery, it is best removed before sport, showering, swimming or sleeping to help minimise wear and keep the finish bright.

Q: Can it be layered with other necklaces?
A: Yes. A 41 cm chain works well as a shorter base layer, especially when paired with slightly longer necklaces. The small pendant keeps the look refined rather than bulky.

Q: Will sterling silver tarnish over time?
A: Sterling silver can naturally tarnish with exposure to air, moisture, perfume, chlorine and certain chemicals. Regular wear often helps reduce heavy tarnish, but occasional polishing is normal for silver jewellery.

Q: How should I clean and store it?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft cloth after wear. If needed, use a silver jewellery cleaner suitable for sterling silver, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Store it dry in a soft pouch or lined jewellery box, away from humidity, chlorine and direct sunlight.

Q: What condition is this vintage necklace in?
A: It is listed in very good condition. The hardware remains shiny with light surface scratches, which is typical for a well-kept pre-owned sterling silver piece.

Q: What is included with the necklace?
A: Any included product information is shown on this page. This item is listed with no additional product information, so no box, pouch or papers are included unless otherwise stated.

Q: How is authenticity checked?
A: Every item sold by A Retro Tale is reviewed by in-house experts using brand-specific details such as hallmarks, materials, craftsmanship and overall construction, so you can shop with confidence in its authenticity.
