Q: What are these Valentino VLogo earrings made of?
A: Crafted in gold-tone metal with the Valentino VLogo signature and a post-back closure for pierced ears, made in Italy. This pair measures approximately 3 cm in height and 2 cm in width.

Q: Are they solid gold?
A: No. Valentino VLogo fashion jewellery is typically crafted from brass with a polished gold-tone finish rather than solid gold. The finish offers the look of gold without the maintenance needs of fine gold jewellery.

Q: Are they suitable for sensitive ears or nickel allergies?
A: They are not labelled hypoallergenic. As they are brass-based with a plated finish, they may not be ideal for very sensitive or nickel‑allergic ears. If you have known sensitivities, consider solid 14–18 ct gold, platinum or implant‑grade titanium, or use protective earring sleeves.

Q: Will the colour fade or tarnish over time?
A: Gold-tone brass can dull or show wear, especially with exposure to water, sweat, perfume, hairspray or lotions. With proper care you can minimise this: keep them dry, wipe after each wear, and store them separately in a pouch or box.

Q: How should I clean them?
A: Gently wipe with a soft, dry, lint‑free cloth. For a light refresh, use a tiny amount of mild soapy water on a cloth and dry immediately. Avoid chemical jewellery dips, ultrasonic cleaners and abrasive polishes, which can damage the finish.

Q: Can I shower, swim, work out or sleep in them?
A: It’s best to remove them first. Water, chlorine, salt, sweat and overnight friction can accelerate wear to the gold‑tone finish and may stress the posts or backs.

Q: Are they heavy to wear?
A: At 3 × 2 cm they offer a noticeable yet wearable presence for most. Exact gram weight is not specified; if you’re weight‑sensitive, contact us and we can provide a measurement on request.

Q: Are these clip‑ons?
A: No. They feature post‑back closures and are designed for pierced ears.

Q: What condition are they in?
A: Very Good condition with light signs of wear; the hardware is shiny with light surface scratches. Please review the photos for close‑ups of any minor wear.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: This pair comes with its box and tags, as listed under Accessories. If an item isn’t listed there, it is not included—feel free to contact us for confirmation.

Q: How do you authenticate these earrings?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously checked by our in‑house experts using multi‑point inspections of materials, stamps and hardware. We stand behind the authenticity of all pieces we sell and can provide additional details on request.
