Q: What is the Bvlgari Bulgari 26mm Ref BB 26 SS Watch?
A: It’s a Swiss‑made vintage quartz watch from Bvlgari’s iconic “Bvlgari Bvlgari” line, featuring a 26mm stainless‑steel case, black dial and matching stainless‑steel bracelet. The petite 26mm size offers a refined, elegant presence suitable for everyday luxury and formal wear.

Q: What movement and battery does it use, and how long will the battery last?
A: The watch is powered by a Swiss quartz movement. Many similar Bvlgari quartz models use a 1.55V silver‑oxide button cell (commonly a 377/SR626SW), but the exact type should be confirmed by a professional. Typical battery life is about 2–3 years depending on use and storage.

Q: Is it water‑resistant?
A: As with most vintage pieces, water resistance cannot be guaranteed. Treat it as splash‑resistant at best and avoid showering, swimming or submersion unless the seals have been replaced and the watch has been pressure‑tested by a qualified watchmaker.

Q: Will it fit my wrist, and can the bracelet be adjusted?
A: The bracelet is sized to approximately 17cm, which suits many small to medium wrists. We can assist with sizing. Additional links may be sourced subject to availability and potential cost—share your wrist measurement and we’ll advise.

Q: How do I set the time on this quartz watch?
A: Gently pull the crown to its setting position, turn the hands to the desired time, then press the crown back in. Work on a soft surface and never force the crown—if it feels tight or you’re unsure, ask a watchmaker to avoid damage.

Q: What crystal does this model use?
A: Many Bvlgari Bvlgari watches are fitted with a scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal, but specifications can vary by era and exact reference. We’re happy to confirm the crystal type on this specific piece upon request.

Q: Is the watch authentic, what is included, and do you offer a warranty?
A: A Retro Tale thoroughly inspects and authenticates every item. Please refer to the listing’s Accessories section for what is included; if not specified, the watch is sold as shown. We provide a 12‑month movement/mechanical guarantee, insured shipping, and a 14‑day return policy.

Q: What is the design heritage of the “Bvlgari Bvlgari” line?
A: The collection’s signature aesthetic—famously featuring the double logo on the bezel—stems from design work associated with Gérald Genta in the 1970s. The BB 26 continues this clean, architectural look that has become a Bvlgari hallmark.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Bvlgari quartz watch?
A: Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft microfiber cloth, avoid abrasive or chemical cleaners, keep the watch away from strong magnets, and store it dry and cool. Replace the battery every 1–3 years, and seek servicing if you notice condensation, erratic timekeeping, or moisture ingress.

Q: Can I swap the bracelet for a strap?
A: Some BB 26 variants use integrated bracelets; strap compatibility depends on the exact case and end‑link design. If you prefer a strap, contact us and we’ll advise on suitable, model‑correct options or sourcing additional links where applicable.
