Q: What is the Bvlgari Octo Roma 41mm Ref 103083?
A: It’s a Swiss-made, two-tone Bvlgari wristwatch featuring a 41mm stainless-steel and gold case, a stainless-steel bracelet, automatic movement and a practical date function. This pre-loved example is delivered as a full set with its original box and certificate.

Q: Which movement does it use and what is the power reserve?
A: Octo Roma models of this era typically house Bvlgari’s automatic “Solotempo” calibre (often the BVL 191) with a power reserve around 42 hours. Exact calibre can vary by reference; we’re happy to verify the movement in this specific watch on request.

Q: Is it water-resistant and can I wear it in the rain or swim?
A: As a pre-owned piece, water resistance cannot be guaranteed without recent gasket replacement and professional pressure testing. Treat it as splash-resistant at best and avoid swimming or showering. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any light exposure to moisture.

Q: How do I set the time and date safely?
A: If the watch has stopped, hand-wind the crown about 20–40 turns. Pull the crown to the first position to quickset the date (if equipped) and to the second position to set the time. Avoid changing the date between roughly 8pm and 2am to protect the mechanism, then push the crown back in firmly.

Q: What materials and crystal does it use?
A: The case is stainless steel combined with gold, paired with a stainless-steel bracelet. Most Octo Roma models feature a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal; we can confirm the crystal type and gold specifications (tone and karat) for this exact reference on request.

Q: What makes the Octo Roma design distinctive?
A: The Octo Roma blends a refined round bezel with Bvlgari’s signature octagonal geometry, inspired by Italian architectural forms. It offers a modern, elegant presence that works for business, formal events and sophisticated daily wear.

Q: Will the bracelet fit my wrist, and can it be resized?
A: The bracelet length is approximately 19.5 cm and this listing includes one extra link. We can size the bracelet prior to dispatch, and additional genuine links may be sourced subject to availability—share your wrist measurement and we’ll advise options.

Q: Can I swap the bracelet for a leather strap?
A: Octo Roma bracelets and straps typically use model-specific end links/fittings. Strap changes are possible with compatible Bvlgari components; we can advise on suitable genuine straps for this reference and handle fitting if required.

Q: What accuracy and service interval should I expect?
A: A healthy automatic Octo Roma should keep good everyday time, though performance varies with age and service history. A routine service every 5–10 years is generally recommended. Keep the watch away from strong magnets, chemicals and extreme heat, and wipe it with a soft microfibre cloth after wear.
