Q: What typically fits inside this Chanel CC Camera Bag?
A: With approximate dimensions of 22 × 16 × 8 cm, it comfortably holds a large smartphone, a small wallet or card holder, keys, a compact or lipstick, and slim sunglasses in a soft pouch. A small hand sanitiser and earphones also fit; bulkier items like a hard glasses case or water bottle are not recommended. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact sizing and pack accordingly.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody, and is the strap adjustable?
A: It has a single leather‑interwoven chain strap with an approximate 50 cm drop. This suits shoulder wear and a short crossbody on some heights. The strap is fixed (not adjustable or detachable). If you prefer a longer drop, consider a chain extender or wear on the shoulder.

Q: Is this a vintage piece and what does the serial number 0753510 indicate?
A: Yes, it is vintage. The seven‑digit serial beginning with “0” places it in Chanel’s early 0‑series production window, approximately 1986–1988. As with all vintage pieces, small signs of age are normal and noted under Condition.

Q: Is the gold‑tone hardware real gold?
A: Many vintage Chanel bags produced before late 2008 featured 24‑karat gold‑plated hardware. Given this bag’s era, the gold‑tone hardware is consistent with that period; however, plating can vary and we do not guarantee a specific alloy content for this individual piece.

Q: How should I care for beige lambskin leather?
A: Keep away from prolonged sunlight, humidity and colour‑transfer risks (e.g., dark denim). Wipe gently with a soft, lint‑free cloth; avoid harsh cleaners and conditioners. For superficial marks, lightly buff in small circular motions. Store upright in a breathable dust bag, loosely stuffed to hold shape, and wrap the chain in tissue to prevent impressions on the leather.

Q: What closure and details does it have? Is the tassel removable?
A: It features a top zip closure with a leather tassel pull. The tassel is attached to the zip pull and is not designed to be removed.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything that comes with the bag is listed under product information on this page. For this piece, the product information notes a serial number tag. If something (e.g., dust bag or card) is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: Overall good vintage condition. The exterior lambskin shows some wear with a stain on the bottom corner; the interior lining has small stains. Hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the photos and Condition notes for full details.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes a multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, reviewing materials, stitching, stamps, serial sticker, and hardware. We stand behind the authenticity of all items and can share further product information on request.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The origin label states Italy.
