It will typically hold a phone, full-size wallet, keys, sunglasses case, cosmetics pouch, notebook, and other daily essentials. It may also suit slim documents or a small tablet, but capacity always depends on how you organise the contents.

Q: What does Reverso mean on a Chanel Boy bag?
A: Reverso refers to a variation of the Boy design with a smoother central body and a quilted frame or edges, rather than all-over quilting. It gives the bag a more graphic, structured look while keeping the signature Boy silhouette.

Q: What does the serial number tell me about this bag?
A: This piece has serial number 18931702 and includes a serial sticker. In the vintage Chanel market, 18-series stickers are generally associated with production around 2013 to 2014. A serial number helps date a bag, but it should always be considered alongside the materials, hardware, construction, and overall craftsmanship.

Q: What product information is included with this item?
A: The included product information listed for this piece is the serial sticker. If an authenticity card, box, dust bag, or any other item is not listed in the product information on this page, it is not included with this specific bag.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: The exterior is in good condition with light traces of use and minor scratches. The interior is also in good condition with light traces of use, and the hardware shows light scratches. As a vintage Chanel piece, small signs of wear are normal and part of its character.

Q: How should I care for this vintage Chanel bag?
A: Store it upright, lightly stuffed, and away from prolonged sunlight, humidity, and colour transfer. Avoid overfilling it, and wipe the leather gently with a soft cloth. If the bag gets wet, dry it carefully with a non-pilling absorbent cloth, and avoid using harsh leather products unless advised by a specialist.

Q: How do you authenticate a pre-owned Chanel bag like this one?
A: Authentication should never rely on one detail alone. A proper assessment considers the serial sticker, leather quality, stitching, hardware, logo details, lining, and overall construction together. At A Retro Tale, every item is carefully vetted for authenticity before it is offered for sale.
