Christian DiorDiorissimo Trotter Romantique Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Christian Dior Diorissimo Trotter Romantique Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 30 × 18 × 8 cm, it is best for daily essentials such as a phone, long wallet, keys, sunglasses and a small cosmetics pouch. It is not ideal for A4 papers, a laptop or bulkier items. Capacity can vary slightly depending on how you pack it, so please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: This piece has dual top handles with an approximate 15 cm handle drop. Many buyers will find it most comfortable carried by hand or in the crook of the arm, though a light shoulder carry may be possible depending on your frame and what you are wearing.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap or any extra product information?
A: No detachable shoulder strap is listed for this item, and no additional product information is included with the bag.

Q: What materials and details define this bag?
A: This bag features beige Trotter canvas with tonal leather trim, silver-tone hardware, dual top handles, a tonal lining and a flap closure. The Diorissimo Trotter monogram is one of Dior’s most recognisable vintage canvas designs and is especially popular in early-2000s styles.

Q: How is the interior organised?
A: The bag has a tonal-lined interior with one internal zipped pocket for smaller valuables. The main compartment is best suited to compact everyday essentials rather than heavy or oversized items.

Q: What condition is this vintage bag in?
A: It is listed in good condition overall. The exterior shows visible scuffing on the trim, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As with most vintage Dior pieces, gentle wear is part of the character of the bag.

Q: How should I care for vintage Dior canvas and leather trim?
A: For regular care, wipe the bag gently with a soft dry cloth. If needed, dab the canvas very lightly with a barely damp cloth and mild soap, then dry it straight away. Avoid soaking the material, harsh cleaners, excessive rubbing, rain, direct heat and long periods of sunlight. Store it lightly stuffed in a breathable bag to help maintain its shape.

Q: Does the absence of a serial number automatically mean a vintage Dior bag is not authentic?
A: Not necessarily. Some older Dior bags may be found without a serial number, so authenticity should be assessed through the overall construction, logo details, stitching, hardware quality and trusted seller expertise. For this listing, no serial number is provided in the product information.
