Q: What size is this Gucci GG2570 watch?
A: This watch has a 41 mm case, giving it a modern, sporty presence on the wrist. It is a good option if you prefer a larger watch profile, but as fit is personal, we recommend comparing the diameter with a watch you already wear comfortably.

Q: Is this watch quartz or automatic?
A: This Gucci GG2570 uses a Swiss-made quartz movement. That means it is battery-powered, low-maintenance in daily use, and designed for dependable timekeeping without the need for manual winding.

Q: Does this model have a date function?
A: Yes, the GG2570 reference 142.3 is designed with a date display. As with many quartz watches with a date, it is best not to adjust the date during the late evening or early overnight hours, as this can put unnecessary strain on the mechanism.

Q: Is this watch water resistant?
A: The original GG2570 41 mm quartz model is commonly listed with 10 ATM water resistance, equivalent to 100 metres. However, with any pre-owned watch, water resistance can reduce over time, so it is safest to avoid submerging it unless it has been professionally pressure-tested recently.

Q: What is the condition of this watch?
A: This piece is listed in very good condition, with light traces of use. The internal condition is noted as very good, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful prior wear.

Q: What is included with the watch?
A: This watch includes product information listed as box. If you would like confirmation of anything shown in the images, please feel free to contact us before purchase.

Q: Is this watch Swiss made?
A: Yes, this watch is Swiss made, and the country of origin is listed as Switzerland. That is consistent with Gucci timepieces, which are generally manufactured in Switzerland.

Q: How should I care for a pre-owned Gucci quartz watch?
A: We recommend wiping it gently with a soft cloth after wear and storing it away from strong sunlight, humidity, heat, and magnetic fields. For long-term care, battery changes, water-resistance checks, and servicing should be handled by a professional watch specialist.

Q: How do you authenticate this watch?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully reviewed for authenticity by specialists. We assess the overall construction, materials, finishing, markings, and model details so you can shop vintage and pre-owned luxury with confidence.
