GucciStirrup Bag

Q: What are the key features of this Gucci Stirrup Bag?
A: This vintage Gucci Stirrup Bag is crafted in black leather with gold-tone hardware. It features dual rolled leather top handles, a beige canvas lining with internal pockets, a strap closure with the signature stirrup detail, and protective feet at the base. It is made in Italy.

Q: What size is this bag, and what typically fits inside?
A: The bag measures approximately 38 x 24 x 16 cm. It offers practical everyday capacity for essentials such as a long wallet, phone, sunglasses case, small cosmetics pouch, keys and a compact tablet. As always, capacity depends on how you pack, so please refer to the Measurements in the product information for the exact dimensions.

Q: Is this Gucci Stirrup Bag best carried by hand or on the arm?
A: This piece is designed with dual top handles and a handle drop of approximately 15 cm. It is best suited to hand carry or carrying in the crook of the arm, and may sit as a snug shoulder carry depending on your frame and outerwear.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No detachable shoulder strap is listed for this item. This version is presented with dual rolled leather top handles only, so any included items should be checked in the product information.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good Condition. The exterior shows light traces of use, the interior has stains on the canvas lining consistent with age and use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As a vintage item, gentle wear is normal and part of its character.

Q: What makes the Gucci Stirrup line distinctive?
A: The Stirrup line is known for its equestrian-inspired hardware and refined, classic silhouette. The signature stirrup detail gives the bag a recognisable Gucci look that feels elegant and understated, which is one reason vintage collectors continue to seek out this style.

Q: How should I care for this vintage leather Gucci bag?
A: To help preserve the leather and structure, store it in its dust bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, humidity and heat. Avoid overfilling the bag, and wipe the leather and hardware gently with a soft, dry cloth after use. Because the lining already shows staining, it is best to avoid heavy or loose liquids and cosmetics inside.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: This bag comes with a dust bag. For clarity, everything included with the purchase is shown in the product information; if another item is not listed there, it should not be assumed to be included.
