Louis VuittonLockme Day Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Louis Vuitton Lockme Day Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 32 x 22 x 16 cm, this bag is well suited to daily essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses case, small cosmetics pouch, charger and a compact tablet or small diary. As always, capacity depends on how you organise your items, so please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact sizing.

Q: Is this a good everyday bag?
A: Yes. The Lockme Day Bag is designed as a practical day bag with a structured silhouette, dual top handles and a roomy interior. Its black grained leather and silver-tone hardware give it a polished look that works well for work, city use and smart everyday wear.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: This listing is presented with dual rolled top handles, and no strap is included in the product information. If an item is not listed under product information, it is not included with the bag.

Q: What material is this bag made from?
A: This piece is crafted in black grained leather with silver-tone hardware and tonal microfiber lining. Grained leather is often favoured for everyday use because its textured finish can be more forgiving than very smooth leather in regular wear.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. The exterior shows light traces of use, including some stains on the bottom. The interior is also in Very Good condition with light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Are any accessories included with this bag?
A: No. According to the product information, this item comes with no accessories. If you are expecting extras such as a dust bag, box, padlock or strap, please note that they are not included unless specifically stated in the product information.

Q: How should I care for Louis Vuitton grained leather?
A: For routine care, gently wipe the bag with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid overfilling it. Keep it away from rain, prolonged direct sunlight, heat sources, oils and abrasive surfaces. When not in use, store it in a cool, dry place and lightly stuff it to help maintain its shape.

Q: Is black a practical colour for a pre-owned Lockme bag?
A: Yes. Black is one of the most versatile and easy-to-style colours, and on pre-owned bags it can also make everyday wear feel a little easier. Even so, as with any leather bag, it is still best to protect it from sharp objects, colour transfer and rough surfaces.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin listed for this piece is France.

Q: How do you authenticate pre-owned Louis Vuitton bags?
A: At A Retro Tale, pre-owned luxury items are checked by specialists using details such as materials, construction, hardware, stamps and serial or production markings. This bag also has the serial number AR0261 recorded in the product information for reference.
