Q: What can I fit inside this Prada Tessuto Messenger Bag?
A: With approximate dimensions of 23 × 21 × 9 cm, it comfortably holds an A5 notebook, a long wallet, smartphone, keys, and a small tablet/e‑reader such as an iPad mini. Larger tablets (around 10–11 inches) and laptops will not fit. Please refer to the Measurements on this page to confirm your needs.

Q: Is the strap suitable for crossbody wear?
A: Yes. It has a single adjustable shoulder strap, listed here with an approximate drop of 60 cm (adjustable). Most customers can wear it on the shoulder or crossbody depending on height and preferred drop.

Q: How water‑resistant is Prada’s Tessuto nylon?
A: Tessuto nylon is known for being durable and water‑resistant in daily use, but it is not fully waterproof. Light rain is fine; simply wipe the surface dry after exposure and allow the bag to air dry away from direct heat.

Q: How should I clean and care for the nylon and trim?
A: Wipe the nylon gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a drop of mild soap, then blot dry. Avoid bleach, harsh detergents, alcohol‑based cleaners, and machine washing. Let the bag air dry naturally and store it lightly stuffed in a breathable dust bag, away from direct sunlight and heat. For stubborn marks or deep cleaning, consider a professional handbag care service.

Q: What does “Tessuto” mean, and how is it different from Re‑Nylon?
A: Tessuto refers to Prada’s signature woven nylon used since the 1980s—lightweight, resilient, and easy to maintain. Re‑Nylon is the brand’s newer regenerated nylon made from ECONYL fibres. Both are durable; this piece is a vintage Tessuto version rather than a modern Re‑Nylon model.

Q: What are the pockets and closure on this bag?
A: This bag features a buckle flap closure, one exterior zip pocket for quick‑access items, and a logo jacquard‑lined interior to keep essentials organised.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed in the product information on this page. For this listing, no additional items are included. If you need clarification, feel free to contact us.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag, and does it have digital features?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, including checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and logos. Many modern Prada items include NFC technology and digital certificates on select ranges, but vintage pieces like this typically predate those features.

Q: What condition notes should I expect on this vintage piece?
A: Overall very good condition with normal signs of age and wear. The exterior nylon shows some marks and the leather trim is scuffed; the interior is very good with light traces of use; hardware shows scratches and some dullness. Please review the photos and Condition section for full details.
