Q: What size is this Chanel brooch?
A: This brooch measures approximately 17 cm in height, 5 cm in width and 1 cm in depth. Its elongated ribbon-and-chain design gives it a noticeable statement look, so it works best where the full drop can be seen clearly.

Q: What are the main design details?
A: This vintage piece features gold-tone metal, faux pearl embellishments, ribbon and CC logo motifs, and dangling chain charms. The combination gives it a decorative, dressy finish with elegant movement when worn.

Q: Are the pearls real?
A: No, the product information describes the embellishments as faux pearls. This is common in Chanel fashion jewellery and gives the classic pearl look in a lighter costume-jewellery format.

Q: How does it fasten?
A: It has pin closures on the reverse. For the neatest look and best support, fasten it through stable fabric and check that the closures are fully secured before wearing.

Q: What can I wear this brooch on?
A: It works especially well on a blazer lapel, coat, cardigan, knitwear or scarf. Because it is long and embellished, structured fabrics usually support it better than very delicate silk or very thin jersey.

Q: What condition is this brooch in?
A: It is listed in Very Good condition, with light traces of use. The hardware is described as shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful pre-owned wear.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: According to the product information, this piece comes with a box. If you would like to confirm everything included, the product information on this page is the best reference.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Chanel brooch with faux pearls?
A: Apply perfume, hairspray and lotions before putting the brooch on, and keep it away from water, humidity and harsh cleaning products. After wearing, gently wipe it with a soft dry cloth and store it separately in its box or pouch to help protect the finish and pearl coating.

Q: Is this piece vintage and authenticated?
A: Yes, this brooch is described as vintage. A Retro Tale states that its items are verified for authenticity by its experts, so this piece has been presented as an authenticated pre-owned Chanel item.
