Q: What size is this Chanel CC Vanity Patent Pouch?
A: This piece measures approximately 15 cm wide, 9 cm high and 9 cm deep, with a top handle drop of around 2 cm. It is a compact vanity-style pouch best suited to small daily essentials rather than bulkier items.

Q: What typically fits inside this pouch?
A: Its structured vanity shape is ideal for compact essentials such as cards, keys, lipstick, small cosmetics, earphones and other petite items. Due to its compact dimensions, it is not designed for larger belongings such as a long wallet or most full-size phones. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Is this a shoulder bag or a handheld style?
A: This is a handheld vanity-style pouch with a single flat top handle. No shoulder strap is listed in the product information, so it should be considered a top-handle piece rather than a crossbody or shoulder bag.

Q: What material and finish does this item have?
A: The exterior is crafted in black patent leather with gold-tone hardware. Patent leather is loved for its glossy finish and structured look, which suits compact vanity styles especially well.

Q: How should I care for vintage patent leather?
A: Gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth after use and avoid abrasive cleaners, oils and alcohol-based products. Store it away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity, and keep it separate from dark or colour-transfer-prone materials. As with many vintage patent pieces, careful storage helps preserve shine and reduce the risk of sticking or surface wear over time.

Q: What condition is this Chanel vanity pouch in?
A: It is listed in good condition with light traces of use. The exterior shows light wear, the interior has scratches on the lining, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. We recommend reviewing all product images carefully for the best understanding of its current condition.

Q: Does it include any product information?
A: Yes. According to the product information, this item includes an authenticity card and a serial number sticker.

Q: What does the serial number era indicate?
A: The serial number sticker corresponds to the 1997 to 1999 production era. For vintage Chanel pieces, the serial sticker is one useful dating detail, but overall authenticity should always be considered together with materials, construction, hardware and finishing details.

Q: Is this pouch a good option for everyday use?
A: It can work well for light everyday or evening use if you prefer carrying only the essentials. The zip-around closure and structured silhouette help keep small items organised, while the compact format makes it best for minimal packing rather than all-day carry.
