Q: What wrist size does the Charriol Philippe Bangle fit?
A: This piece fits wrists up to 17 cm in circumference. To check your size, measure snugly at the wrist bone. Charriol’s general guidance is to add 1 cm for a close fit or 2 cm for a looser fit when selecting bangles; for example, a 16 cm wrist will wear this quite close, while 17 cm will be snug.

Q: Is the bangle adjustable or resizable?
A: Charriol cable bangles are not designed to be bent open or squeezed closed. Repeated bending can weaken the cable and compromise plating or end caps. Resizing is generally not recommended for this construction; please choose the correct size for comfortable wear.

Q: How do I put it on correctly?
A: For a wrap-around/open cuff style, slide the opening onto the narrow side of your wrist (just below the thumb), then rotate the bangle into place. Avoid prying the ends apart or twisting the cable when putting it on or taking it off.

Q: What materials is it made from, and is it hypoallergenic?
A: Charriol’s signature cable jewellery is crafted in Switzerland using 316L stainless steel with a titanium alloy and treated with a hypoallergenic finish. This vintage bangle features gold-tone accents. While designed to be skin-friendly, individuals with severe metal sensitivities should test wear briefly and discontinue if irritation occurs.

Q: Will the colour fade or tarnish over time?
A: The stainless-steel cable resists tarnish, but gold-tone/plated accents can naturally fade or oxidise with wear. To slow colour change, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, chlorine, salt water, and household chemicals, and store the bangle dry and separately from other jewellery.

Q: Can I wear it in the shower or while swimming?
A: We recommend removing the bangle before showering, swimming, or exercising. Fresh water isn’t harmful to steel, but soaps, chlorine, and salt can dull finishes and accelerate plating wear. If it does get wet, dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Q: How should I clean and care for it?
A: Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear. For deeper cleaning, use a lightly dampened cloth with mild soapy water, then rinse and dry completely. Avoid abrasive cloths, strong chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, and any action that kinks or flattens the cable. Store in a protective pouch, away from humidity and hard objects.
