Q: What are the dimensions and how can I carry it?
A: The Onthego MM is a structured medium tote measuring approximately 34 × 27 × 15 cm with a 12 cm handle drop for hand/arm carry and about a 25 cm strap drop for shoulder carry. It is designed to be carried by hand or on the shoulder; it is not intended for crossbody wear.

Q: What typically fits inside the Onthego MM?
A: It easily accommodates daily essentials plus larger items such as a 13-inch laptop in a sleeve, A4 documents, a notebook, a compact umbrella and a water bottle. Packing with pouches helps keep the open interior tidy and prevents imprinting on the lining.

Q: Will a 15-inch laptop fit?
A: A 13-inch laptop fits comfortably. Some slim 14-inch devices may fit depending on their footprint, but 15-inch models are usually too wide for a secure, comfortable fit. We recommend measuring your device and using a protective sleeve.

Q: How does the bag close and what pockets are inside?
A: The Onthego MM has an open top with a central hook closure for quick fastening. Inside, you’ll find a zipped pocket and two slip pockets for smaller items, with a hard‑wearing red textile lining.

Q: Are the long straps adjustable or removable?
A: The two long shoulder straps are fixed (non‑adjustable and non‑removable). They can be tucked inside when you prefer to use the shorter Toron handles, giving a clean handheld look.

Q: Is the Monogram Giant Reverse canvas durable and weatherproof?
A: Louis Vuitton’s coated canvas is known for its durability and is naturally water‑resistant, but not fully waterproof. Wipe spills promptly with a soft, slightly damp cloth; avoid alcohol‑based cleaners and harsh chemicals; and keep leather trims away from prolonged moisture and heat. Store the bag loosely stuffed in a breathable dust bag to maintain its shape.

Q: Is the Onthego MM heavy compared with other LV totes?
A: Thanks to its structured build, the Onthego MM feels more substantial than softer totes like the Neverfull. Typical weight ranges around 0.8–1.0 kg before contents. Using the broader shoulder straps and balancing the load improves comfort for all‑day wear.

Q: Is the “Reverse” version reversible?
A: No. “Monogram Giant Reverse” refers to the colourway and pattern orientation (contrasting classic and reverse monogram panels). The bag itself is not reversible.

Q: What does the date code TJ1290 mean on this piece?
A: LV date codes indicate place and time of production. “TJ” denotes a French factory, and “1290” decodes to week 19 of 2020. Note that since 2021 many new LV bags use an embedded microchip instead of a visible date code; on pre‑2021 pieces the code is one data point and not proof of authenticity by itself.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed on this page. For this specific bag, no accessories are included unless stated otherwise. Please contact us if you would like us to confirm what is currently included.

Q: There is a faint scent noted—how can I minimise it safely?
A: Air the bag in a cool, dry, shaded room and loosely stuff it with acid‑free tissue. You may place odour‑absorbing sachets (e.g., activated charcoal) nearby, avoiding direct contact with the lining. Do not spray perfumes or harsh deodorisers on the canvas or lining, and avoid prolonged sun exposure.
