Q: What size is this Cartier Pantère Vendome watch?
A: This watch has a 23 mm case, making it a refined, jewellery-like size that sits neatly on the wrist. It is ideal if you prefer an elegant vintage Cartier look rather than an oversized watch.

Q: Will this watch fit my wrist?
A: This piece fits a 16 cm wrist or smaller. If your wrist is close to that measurement, we recommend comparing it carefully with a watch you already wear for the most accurate sense of fit.

Q: Is this a quartz or mechanical watch?
A: This model uses a quartz movement. That means it is battery powered, easy to wear, and does not need winding before use.

Q: How often does a Cartier quartz watch need a battery change or service?
A: Cartier generally recommends battery service every two to three years for quartz watches. For a vintage watch, periodic checks are also a good idea to help maintain performance, water resistance, and overall condition.

Q: Can I wear this watch every day?
A: Yes, many collectors choose the Pantère as an everyday luxury watch because it is comfortable, elegant, and easy to style. The diamond setting gives it a dressier finish, but it can still work beautifully for daily wear depending on your personal style.

Q: Is this watch water resistant?
A: It is best to treat a vintage watch with care around water. Even if the model family is associated with light water resistance, seals naturally age over time, so we do not recommend swimming, showering, or exposing it to moisture unless it has been recently pressure tested.

Q: What condition is this watch in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. The external and internal condition are noted as very good, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful previous use and the age of a vintage piece.

Q: Does this watch come with box, papers, or other extras?
A: No. According to the product information, this watch comes with no accessories.

Q: Is this an authentic vintage Cartier watch?
A: Yes. A Retro Tale specialises in authentic luxury vintage pieces, and this watch is presented as an authentic Cartier model. The listed reference number is 3057916, the serial number is 000200, and the production period is approximately 1990.

Q: How should I care for this watch?
A: To help preserve it, store it in a dry place, avoid knocks and extreme heat, keep it away from chemicals and prolonged moisture, and wipe it gently with a soft cloth after wear. As this is a vintage luxury watch, careful handling will help protect both its finish and long-term functionality.
