Q: What fits inside the Chanel CC Camera Bag (Medium)?
A: With approximate dimensions of 23 × 17 × 7 cm, it comfortably holds a large smartphone, a slim long wallet or cardholder, keys, lipstick, a compact, and slim sunglasses. Bulky items like a water bottle or umbrella are not recommended. Please refer to the Measurements for exact sizing.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody, and is the strap adjustable?
A: Yes, the interwoven chain-and-leather strap has an approximate 53 cm drop, so it works well on the shoulder or crossbody for most heights. The strap is fixed and not adjustable or detachable.

Q: Is this the vintage model with the tassel and CC front pocket?
A: Yes. This design features a top zip with a leather tassel pull, a front flap pocket with a CC turn-lock, and a black leather interior with a zipped pocket—signature details of the classic vintage camera bag.

Q: What does the serial number 2691941 indicate?
A: The 2-series serial number dates the bag to approximately 1991–1994. Bags from this era typically feature a hologram serial sticker inside and a matching authenticity card.

Q: Does this bag have a microchip instead of an authenticity card?
A: No. Chanel introduced microchips in 2021. Early-1990s pieces like this one use the serial sticker and authenticity card system instead.

Q: Is the hardware real gold?
A: Many vintage Chanel bags produced before late 2008 were plated with 24k gold. Because plating and wear vary by piece, and to avoid overpromising, we describe this hardware as gold-toned. On this bag, the hardware is shiny with light surface scratches.

Q: How delicate is lambskin, and how should I care for it?
A: Lambskin is soft and luxurious, so handle it gently. Avoid overfilling and prolonged exposure to sunlight, artificial light, heat, or moisture. If it gets damp, blot dry with a soft, non‑pilling cloth. For routine care, wipe with a clean soft cloth only, avoiding harsh cleaners. Store upright in a breathable dust bag, softly stuffed to maintain shape, and wrap the chain to prevent imprints; keep the tassel tucked inside during storage.

Q: Will a long continental wallet fit?
A: Yes, a slim long wallet (around 19 × 10 cm) fits along the length of the bag together with a phone and keys. Very bulky wallets will reduce overall capacity.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: This piece comes with a dust bag, authenticity card, and serial number tag, as listed in the Accessories section.
