Q: What is the Chanel CC Nylon Water Bottle Holder?
A: It’s a vintage Chanel Sports Line accessory crafted in cream (ecru) quilted nylon with silver‑tone hardware. It features a single adjustable black shoulder strap, grey fabric lining, a zip‑around closure and one main compartment designed to carry a water bottle or similarly shaped item. Please review our photos and description for the exact details of this piece.

Q: What bottle sizes will fit inside?
A: The holder measures approximately 29 x 11 x 11 cm (H x W x D). It comfortably accommodates most standard 500–750 ml bottles and many tall 1 L bottles, depending on cap height and diameter. For best results, compare your bottle’s height to 29 cm and its diameter to slightly less than the 11 cm exterior width/depth to allow clearance for the lining and zip.

Q: Is it insulated or waterproof?
A: It is not insulated and not fully waterproof. Quilted nylon offers light water resistance, but prolonged moisture can affect the lining and hardware. Keep liquids in sealed bottles, avoid leaks, and dry any splashes promptly with a soft cloth.

Q: How is it worn and is the strap removable?
A: The single shoulder strap is adjustable for shoulder or crossbody wear. The strap is not designed to be removed. Exact drop range can vary by adjustment—please see our photos for how it sits when worn.

Q: Does it have extra pockets or compartments?
A: This model has a single main compartment with a zip‑around closure. There are no additional interior or exterior pockets on this piece; please inspect our photos to confirm the layout.

Q: Is it unisex and how can I style it?
A: Yes—this minimalist sports accessory is unisex. Wear it crossbody for hands‑free errands, gym commutes, festivals or travel. It can also carry items like a compact umbrella or slim thermos, provided they fit comfortably and do not stress the zip or nylon.

Q: How should I clean and care for the nylon and hardware?
A: Wipe nylon gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents and machine washing. Polish hardware lightly with a dry microfibre cloth. Store in a dust bag, lightly stuffed to maintain shape, away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight.

Q: How is authenticity verified and will it have a serial number?
A: Many vintage Chanel pieces feature a serial number tag/sticker inside; this listing shows a serial number tag (6423590). A Retro Tale authenticates every item through rigorous multi‑point checks of materials, construction, stamps and hardware—the presence or absence of a code alone is not definitive.

Q: What is included and where is it made?
A: Inclusions vary for vintage/pre‑owned items. Please check the Accessories section and photos for exactly what comes with this piece; this listing indicates a serial number tag. The country of origin label shows France for this item.

Q: What condition should I expect?
A: This item is in Good condition with light traces of use, consistent with vintage wear. Expect minor surface marks on nylon, gentle softening of the material and light hairline scratches on hardware. Please review all photos for an accurate view of condition.
