Q: What typically fits inside the Chanel CC Vanity Case Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 20 × 10 × 14 cm, it is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, card holder, keys, lipstick, a compact and a few small personal items. The structured vanity shape helps keep contents organised, but it is not designed for bulky items.

Q: Will a phone fit inside?
A: Most standard smartphones should fit. If you use a larger model or a bulky case, we recommend comparing your phone’s exact measurements with the bag dimensions shown on this page.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No. This particular piece has a single flat top handle, and the product information does not list a detachable strap, so it is intended to be carried by hand.

Q: Is caviar leather practical for regular use?
A: Yes. Chanel’s grained caviar leather is generally appreciated for its structured feel and for showing everyday scratches and scuffs less readily than smoother leathers, which makes it a practical choice for frequent use.

Q: Is a Chanel vanity case practical, or mainly a collector’s piece?
A: It can be both. Vanity cases are loved for their distinctive shape and neat organisation, and many owners find them surprisingly spacious for essentials. That said, the zip-around, boxy design feels more structured to open and access than a softer flap bag, so it suits buyers who enjoy a compact, polished silhouette.

Q: How should I care for this vintage Chanel bag?
A: Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, humidity, perfume, make-up and other chemicals. If it gets wet, gently pat it dry with a soft absorbent cloth rather than rubbing. When not in use, store it upright in a storage pouch or dust bag and avoid overfilling so it keeps its shape well.

Q: What does the condition of this item mean?
A: This bag is listed in very good condition. The exterior shows light traces of use, some scratches and scuffing to the corners; the inside has small spots; and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches and some discolouration. Please review the photos carefully for the best sense of its vintage character.

Q: Does it come with an authenticity card or a readable serial number?
A: The product information lists a serial number, but it is noted as illegible, and no authenticity card is listed. For vintage Chanel bags, the serial number is only one checkpoint, so authentication is typically considered alongside the overall construction, materials, hardware and finishing details.
