Q: How large are these Chanel dangling earrings?
A: These earrings measure approximately 9 cm in height and 2 cm in width. Their elongated drop design makes them a noticeable statement style, so we recommend checking the measurements carefully to judge how they will sit when worn.

Q: What is the condition of this pair?
A: This pair is listed in Very Good Condition with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle wear on a vintage item.

Q: Are any extras included with the earrings?
A: No. According to the product information, this item comes with no accessories.

Q: Are these earrings suitable for everyday wear or more for occasions?
A: Because of their 9 cm drop, rhinestone detailing, and pearl accents, they are best suited to statement dressing, evenings, events, or elevating a simple daytime look. They can be worn more casually, but they are more striking than a small everyday stud.

Q: How should I care for Chanel costume jewellery like this?
A: Chanel advises handling costume jewellery with care. To help preserve the shine and finish, avoid water, high heat, cosmetics, perfume applied directly onto the piece, exercise while wearing it, and contact with cleaning products. Store each piece individually and polish gently with a soft dry cloth.

Q: Can pearl and rhinestone earrings get wet?
A: It is best to keep them dry. Moisture, humidity, and chemicals can dull the metal finish and affect the lustre of costume pearls over time, so these earrings should not be worn in the shower, while swimming, or when applying perfume or lotions.

Q: How should I store vintage dangling earrings to protect them?
A: Store them separately from other jewellery so the stones and metal do not rub against other pieces. A soft pouch or individual compartment is ideal, especially for styles with pearls and rhinestones that can scratch or catch more easily than plain metal pieces.

Q: Do vintage Chanel earrings need gentle handling?
A: Yes. Vintage costume jewellery should be worn and handled more carefully than modern everyday fashion jewellery. Over time, plating, rhinestones, faux pearls, and fittings can naturally become more delicate, so careful wear and storage help extend their life.

Q: Can vintage Chanel earrings be repaired if needed?
A: In some cases, yes. Chanel boutiques may be able to advise on repairs, but availability of replacement parts for older vintage pieces can be limited. For vintage earrings, buyers often also consult a trusted jeweller experienced with fashion jewellery repairs.

Q: How do buyers usually assess authenticity for vintage Chanel earrings?
A: Common checks include overall craftsmanship, the quality and consistency of the logo details, the back construction, finish quality, and any signature stamp or plaque where applicable. As with many vintage Chanel jewellery pieces, collectors also pay close attention to photos of the front, back, fastenings, and any hallmarks when evaluating authenticity.
