Q: What typically fits inside the Chanel Naked Camellia Bucket Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 18 × 15 × 15 cm, it’s ideal for daily essentials: a large smartphone, compact wallet or cardholder, keys, slim sunglasses in a soft case, wireless earbuds and a small cosmetics pouch. It’s a compact bucket, so A4 documents don’t fit; if you’d like a tailored fit check for a specific item, just ask and we’ll test this exact piece.

Q: Will it fit a tablet or a water bottle?
A: A slim e‑reader may fit, but an iPad mini–sized tablet generally does not sit comfortably due to the 15 cm width and bucket opening. A 330 ml bottle can fit at an angle; a 500 ml bottle typically protrudes. Share your device/bottle dimensions and we’ll confirm the fit for this bag.

Q: Is the strap adjustable, and can I wear it crossbody?
A: It features a single shoulder strap with an approximate 52 cm drop. It wears comfortably on the shoulder and as a high crossbody on some frames; the strap is not adjustable.

Q: How secure is the closure and what’s the interior like?
A: This configuration has an open top with a decorative CC twist‑lock and includes a removable black zipped pouch for valuables. For commuting or travel, keep the bag upright and use the zipped pouch for added security.

Q: What materials and hardware does it have, and where is it made?
A: Transparent PVC (vinyl) with Camellia print and black leather trim, finished with silver‑tone hardware. This piece is labelled Made in France; light, normal signs of wear are shown in our photos and noted in the condition description.

Q: How do I care for the PVC and leather trim?
A: Keep the bag away from prolonged sunlight, artificial light and humidity. Wipe the PVC with a soft, dry or lightly damp microfiber cloth and avoid alcohol, acetone, abrasive polishes or strong cleaners. For the leather trim, use a soft, dry cloth and condition very sparingly with a high‑quality neutral product after testing on a discreet area. Store upright, lightly stuffed, in a breathable dust bag, and wrap the chain/strap to prevent pressure marks.

Q: Can clear PVC yellow or cloud over time?
A: Clear PVC can gradually yellow or haze with prolonged UV exposure and heat. Minimise this by storing the bag away from direct sunlight and high temperatures, avoiding humid environments, and gently wiping the surface after wear to remove residues. Thoughtful rotation and proper storage help preserve clarity.

Q: What era does the serial number indicate?
A: The serial number begins with 25 (25855258), which generally corresponds to around 2018–2019 production. Placement of the interior serial sticker can vary by model and year; we’re happy to provide close‑up photos on request.

Q: Is this style currently available in Chanel boutiques?
A: This Camellia PVC bucket style does not appear in current CHANEL collections and is typically sourced on the pre‑loved market. Availability can vary by season and region in the resale space.

Q: What accessories are included and how do you authenticate?
A: Everything included with this exact item is listed under “Accessories”; this listing notes a serial number tag. If a dust bag, box or authenticity card isn’t mentioned there, it isn’t included. Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous, multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, assessing materials, stitching, hardware, stamps/serial sticker and overall construction—we stand behind the authenticity of every piece we sell.
