Q: What is the Dior Trotter print on this scarf?
A: The Trotter motif, also widely known as the Dior Oblique pattern, was conceived by Marc Bohan in 1967 and has since become a lasting house signature. This piece features the classic all‑over monogram in red and white.

Q: Is this piece vintage and what is its condition?
A: Yes, it is a vintage Christian Dior scarf. It is graded Very Good with light traces of use consistent with age. Please review the photos for close‑ups of any minor signs of wear.

Q: What are the measurements and how does it wear?
A: Approx. 75 × 75 cm. This versatile square works as a neckerchief, headscarf, bag‑handle wrap, wrist tie or pocket square, and suits a variety of styling preferences.

Q: What is it made from and how does it feel?
A: 100% cotton. Cotton offers a soft, breathable feel with a touch of structure, making it comfortable for year‑round wear.

Q: How should I clean a vintage cotton scarf?
A: If cleaning is needed, use a cautious approach: hand wash gently in cool water with a mild detergent, avoid long soaks, rinse well, then roll in a towel to remove excess water and dry flat away from heat or direct sunlight. Iron on the reverse on a low/cotton setting if required. When in doubt, consult a professional cleaner experienced with delicate accessories.

Q: Will the red print bleed or transfer colour?
A: Quality dyes are usually stable when laundered correctly, but bright reds can sometimes release excess dye. Test for colourfastness on a hidden corner first, avoid prolonged soaking, and wash separately in cool water the first few times. Keep the scarf away from damp light‑coloured leathers or denim to prevent transfer.

Q: Is this scarf unisex?
A: Yes. A 75 cm square is a classic, unisex format that can be styled in countless ways.

A: No accessories are included with this item. Everything that comes with the piece is listed in the Accessories section of this page.
