Q: What is this bracelet made of?
A: It is a vintage Dior fashion jewellery piece in a silver‑tone plated metal with rhinestone crystals forming the DIOR logo. Dior fashion jewellery is typically crafted from base metals with precious‑metal finishes and crystals rather than solid sterling silver.

Q: Is the size adjustable and what wrist size will it fit?
A: Yes. The fine chain closes with a lobster clasp and extender, allowing you to fasten it shorter or at full length up to approximately 21 cm. For best comfort, measure your wrist and add about 1–2 cm; most wearers can tailor the fit using the extender.

Q: Can I wear it in the shower or while swimming?
A: We recommend removing it before bathing, swimming, exercising, or applying perfume and lotions. Water, soaps, and chemicals can dull plating and may affect rhinestone settings over time.

Q: How should I clean and care for the rhinestones and finish?
A: After each wear, wipe gently with a soft, dry, lint‑free cloth. If needed, use a barely damp cloth with mild soap to spot‑clean, keeping moisture away from the backs of the stones. Do not soak, steam, or use ultrasonic cleaners or harsh chemicals. Store it dry and separately to avoid scratches.

Q: Why should I avoid soaking rhinestone jewellery?
A: Many rhinestones are foil‑backed or set with adhesives; excess moisture can lift or discolour the foil and weaken settings, reducing sparkle. Gentle, minimal‑moisture cleaning is safest.

Q: Is the bracelet hypoallergenic or nickel‑free?
A: Fashion jewellery alloys can contain small amounts of nickel. If you have sensitive skin, limit prolonged contact, keep the area dry, and consider using a clear barrier on skin‑contact points. Those with severe nickel allergy may prefer solid precious‑metal jewellery.

Q: Can the length be altered beyond the extender settings?
A: We do not modify vintage pieces. A professional jeweller may add or remove chain links, but alterations can affect originality and resale value. The built‑in extender usually provides ample adjustment for most wrists.

Q: What does Very Good condition mean for this item?
A: It shows light traces of use consistent with gentle wear, with overall bright stones and clean metal. Please review the photos and Measurements for exact details.

Q: What is included and how do you authenticate it?
A: This bracelet comes with A Retro Tale’s certificate of authenticity. Our experts inspect materials, construction, logos and stamps (Dior pieces are often signed on a tag or clasp), and overall workmanship before listing. Original Dior packaging is included only if specifically stated; for this piece, the certificate is included.
