Louis VuittonDamier Azur Belt, size 85

Q: What size does this Louis Vuitton belt correspond to?
A: This belt is a Louis Vuitton size 85. Louis Vuitton belt sizes are typically measured in centimetres from the buckle pin to the middle hole, so size 85 generally suits around a 30 inch waist, depending on where you prefer to wear it and your styling preferences.

Q: How should I measure to check if size 85 will fit me?
A: The best method is to measure a belt you already wear comfortably from the buckle pin to the hole you use most often. If that measurement is close to 85 cm, this size is likely to be a good fit. Please also keep in mind that this is a pre-owned piece, so we recommend using the listed size as the main reference point.

Q: Is Damier Azur prone to colour transfer?
A: Yes. Because Damier Azur is a light-coloured coated canvas, it is more susceptible to colour transfer than darker finishes. Dark denim, heavily dyed fabrics, cosmetics, and other strongly pigmented materials can all leave marks more easily on this type of canvas.

Q: How should I care for a Louis Vuitton Damier Azur belt?
A: For routine care, wipe the canvas gently with a soft damp cloth. If needed, a little mild soapy water can be used on the canvas, but harsh cleaners, oils, leather lotions, perfumes, and chemicals should be avoided. It is also best to keep the belt away from rough surfaces, excess moisture, and heat, and to store it in a dry, ventilated place.

Q: What condition is this belt in?
A: According to the product information, the belt is in Very Good condition with light traces of use. The hardware is shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful pre-owned wear.

Q: Does this item come with any extras?
A: No. The product information states that this belt comes with no accessories. If you would like to double-check what is included, please refer to the product information on this page.

Q: What is the belt width?
A: The listed measurement is 3 cm in height, which for a belt corresponds to an approximate strap width of 3 cm. This is a versatile width that works well for both everyday wear and smarter styling.

Q: Will the belt develop wear around the holes and buckle area over time?
A: As with many designer belts, the most common wear points are the fastening holes, edges, lining, and buckle contact areas. With gentle use and by avoiding over-tightening, you can help minimise stretching, enlargement of the holes, and additional surface wear.

Q: Is this belt authenticated?
A: Yes. A Retro Tale specialises in authentic luxury vintage and second-hand accessories, and items are vetted for authenticity before being offered for sale. If you need more reassurance before purchasing, you can always contact the retailer for further details.
