Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Mini Lin Keepall 45?
A: The Keepall 45 is the smallest size in the Keepall range, designed as a perfect overnight or gym bag. It typically holds 1–2 days' worth of clothing (e.g., jeans, tops, a light jumper), a pair of shoes, a toiletry bag, and a laptop or iPad. Its soft structure allows it to accommodate bulky items easily while remaining compact.

Q: Is this bag cabin‑size approved?
A: Yes, the Keepall 45 (approx. 45 cm length) is generally accepted as carry‑on luggage by most airlines. However, as regulations vary, we always recommend checking with your specific airline before flying.

Q: What is Monogram Mini Lin material?
A: Monogram Mini Lin (later reimagined as Monogram Idylle) is a lightweight, durable canvas blend made from 58% cotton, 24% linen and 18% polyamide. Unlike the classic coated canvas, this material has a softer, fabric‑like feel and a more relaxed drape. This specific piece features the Dune (beige) colourway with off‑white leather trim.

Q: How does the condition of the fabric compare to coated canvas?
A: As a textile material, Mini Lin is lighter and more supple than coated canvas but requires a bit more care to avoid staining. This vintage piece is in Very Good condition with light traces of use. The fabric remains robust, though natural softening is typical for this material. Please review the photos to see the exact condition of the canvas and leather trim.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: Yes, this model is the 'Bandoulière' style, meaning it includes a detachable shoulder strap. This allows you to carry the bag comfortably on the shoulder or crossbody, in addition to using the dual rolled leather handles.

Q: How should I care for the Mini Lin canvas and light leather trim?
A: To maintain the Beige (Dune) colour, avoid contact with dark or colour‑transferring fabrics (like raw denim) and keep it away from prolonged moisture or direct heat. If the fabric gets dirty, spot‑clean gently with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap—avoid harsh chemicals. The off‑white leather trim should be kept dry and can be conditioned sparingly with a neutral leather product if needed.

Q: Where can I find the date code on this item?
A: On this Keepall, the date code is stamped MB1024, indicating it was manufactured in France in October 2004. It is typically found on a small leather tab inside the bag or along the interior seam. We verify all date codes as part of our rigorous authentication process.

Q: Is the bag heavy to carry?
A: One of the main advantages of the Mini Lin line is its weight. The cotton‑linen blend makes this bag significantly lighter than its leather or coated‑canvas counterparts, making it an excellent choice for travel where weight limits are a concern.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: This item comes with its detachable shoulder strap and a luggage tag. If other accessories (like a padlock or dust bag) are not listed in the "Accessories" section, they are not included with this specific piece.
