A: This GM size is a roomy everyday satchel. It comfortably holds a large smartphone, continental wallet, keys, slim sunglasses in a soft case, earbuds, a small cosmetics pouch and an A5 diary/notebook. Given our approximate Measurements (38 × 23 × 13 cm), a compact umbrella and a small water bottle can also fit without over‑stuffing. Capacity can vary with organisers—contact us for a tailored fit check for this exact piece.

Q: Will it fit A4 documents or a 13‑inch laptop?
A: A4 papers/folders (21 × 29.7 cm) fit when placed horizontally. Many 13‑inch laptops or slim devices of similar footprint can slide in horizontally without a bulky sleeve; however, the curved zip opening and structured front pockets make it snug and not ideal as a dedicated laptop bag. Share your device’s dimensions and we’ll test the fit for this item.

Q: How can it be carried? Is there a shoulder or crossbody strap?
A: The Manhattan GM is designed with dual rolled top handles (approx. 16 cm drop) for hand or crook‑of‑arm carry. It does not come with a long shoulder/crossbody strap. Some wearers can carry it on the shoulder over light layers, but it’s primarily a handheld satchel.

A: It features a zip‑top main compartment for everyday security, lined in beige Alcantara/microfibre with a slip pocket for small valuables. Two front pockets with push‑lock closures offer quick access for low‑profile items. A: Classic Monogram coated canvas with natural Vachetta leather trim and gold‑tone hardware. Coated canvas is durable and lightweight; Vachetta is untreated, develops a honey patina, and is sensitive to water and oils—marks and darkening over time are normal for vintage pieces.

A: Yes—this Marc Jacobs‑era style from the mid‑2000s is considered discontinued and is now found on the pre‑loved market. Availability and details can vary slightly by production year.

Q: What does the date code BA0035 indicate?
A: Pre‑2021 Louis Vuitton bags carry a date code showing factory and production period. “BA” denotes manufacture in France. In the 2000–2006 format, the 1st & 3rd digits give the month and the 2nd & 4th give the year—so “0035” decodes to March 2005. Placement varies (often on a small leather tab or along a seam).
