Q: What size is this Omega Constellation and how does it wear?
A: This watch has a 22 mm case, so it wears as a petite, elegant vintage watch with a jewellery-like feel on the wrist. It is ideal if you prefer a smaller and more refined look rather than a modern oversized watch.

Q: Will it fit my wrist, and can the bracelet be resized?
A: The current bracelet is listed as fitting a wrist of 16 cm or smaller. Constellation bracelets can usually be adjusted by a professional watchmaker, but this style is best resized professionally rather than as a home project.

Q: Is this watch quartz or mechanical?
A: This reference uses an Omega quartz movement, which means it is battery powered and designed for accurate, low-maintenance daily timekeeping.

Q: How long should the battery last?
A: Omega lists the battery life for this reference at around 32 months. In practice, battery life can vary depending on age, storage, usage, and service history.

Q: Is this watch water resistant?
A: Omega's specification for this reference is 30 metres. However, with any vintage watch, we recommend avoiding water exposure unless it has recently been pressure-tested and confirmed water resistant by a professional.

Q: What materials and design features does it have?
A: This watch features a stainless steel case and bracelet, a white dial, engraved Roman numerals on the bezel, and a sapphire crystal. The overall look is classic Constellation: clean, slim, and timeless.

Q: What condition is this watch in?
A: It is described as being in good overall condition, with good external and internal condition noted. Please expect visible scratches on the case and bracelet, which are consistent with age and normal wear.

Q: What product information is included with the watch?
A: No additional product information is included with this piece. If items such as an original box, card, spare links, or booklets are not listed on the product page, they are not included.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Omega quartz watch?
A: We recommend storing it in a dry place, avoiding knocks, perfume, and chemicals, and having the battery changed by a professional so the seals can be checked at the same time. Regular servicing is also advisable for long-term reliability.

Q: How do you authenticate this watch?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully reviewed for authenticity before sale. Our team assesses details such as materials, construction, finishing, reference information, and overall consistency with the brand and model.
