Q: What is the Omega Lady‑Seamaster 300M 29mm being offered here?
A: It is the ladies’ Seamaster Diver 300M in stainless steel with a black wave dial and date at 3 o’clock, a black unidirectional rotating bezel, and a stainless steel bracelet. The official Omega reference is 212.30.28.61.01.001, and the watch uses a sapphire crystal and a screw‑down crown.

Q: Is the case size 28mm or 29mm?
A: Omega specifies this reference as 28mm. Some listings (including ours) note approximately 29mm due to rounding or measurement method. Either way, it wears as a compact, elegant diver on the wrist.

Q: Is it quartz or automatic, and which calibre does it use?
A: This model is quartz and is powered by Omega calibre 1424. It offers precise timekeeping with an end‑of‑battery‑life (EOL) indicator.

Q: How long does the battery last and how will I know when to replace it?
A: Typical battery life is around 2–3 years, depending on use. When the battery is low, the seconds hand advances in 4‑second jumps (EOL indicator). Have the battery replaced by a professional so the gaskets can be checked or renewed at the same time.

Q: Can I swim with this watch?
A: When new, the Seamaster Diver 300M is rated to 300 metres. As this is a 2015 pre‑owned piece, water resistance cannot be guaranteed without a current pressure test. Until tested, treat it as splash‑resistant only and avoid swimming or showering.

Q: Does this reference have a helium escape valve?
A: Yes, the Diver 300M design includes a helium escape valve at 10 o’clock. It is intended for saturation diving and is not required for everyday use.

Q: What crystal and lume does it have?
A: The watch features a scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal. The hands and hour markers are luminous for legibility in low light.

Q: How do I set the time and date?
A: Unscrew the crown to release it. Pull the crown to the first position to set the date, and to the second position to set the time. After setting, push the crown back in and screw it down firmly. Avoid changing the date manually between about 9 pm and 3 am to protect the mechanism.

Q: Will it fit my wrist and can it be adjusted?
A: This specific piece is sized to fit wrists up to 17cm and includes one extra link. The bracelet can be sized by adding or removing links for a tailored fit.

Q: What exactly is included and what is the condition?
A: This is a full set from 2015, delivered with the original box, certificate, and 1 extra link. It is graded Excellent overall, with shiny hardware and light surface scratches consistent with gentle wear.

Q: Is it authentic and is there a warranty and returns?
A: A Retro Tale guarantees 100% authenticity. The watch is covered by our 12‑month movement warranty, ships free with fully insured delivery, and is eligible for a 14‑day return policy for peace of mind.
