Q: Are these earrings suitable for non-pierced ears?
A: Yes. They have a clip-on fastening, so they are designed for non-pierced ears. Their approximately 2 × 2 cm size also makes them a neat, easy-to-place style on the lobe.

Q: What size are these Chanel clip-on earrings?
A: Each earring measures approximately 2 cm in height and 2 cm in width. Please use the measurements on this page as the best guide to scale.

Q: What are they made from?
A: This pair is made in pink and white resin with gold-tone hardware, featuring Chanel’s camellia flower design and Coco Mark detailing.

Q: What condition are they in?
A: They are listed in Very Good vintage condition with light traces of use. Please note that the hardware shows tarnishing and scratches, which is consistent with age and previous wear.

Q: Will clip-on earrings feel tight or uncomfortable?
A: Comfort can vary from person to person. Clip-on earrings stay in place through light pressure, so they may feel snug after extended wear. If you are sensitive to clip-ons, taking short breaks or using soft clip cushions may help.

Q: Can the clip-ons be adjusted or converted to pierced earrings?
A: Minor adjustment may be possible, but vintage hardware should only be handled by a professional jeweller. Conversion to pierced posts can affect the originality and collectability of the piece.

Q: What does the camellia design mean at Chanel?
A: The camellia is one of Chanel’s most recognisable house motifs, and the Coco Mark refers to the interlocking CC logo. Together, they create a classic Chanel vintage jewellery look.

Q: How should I care for resin vintage jewellery like this?
A: Wipe the earrings gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Keep them away from perfume, hairspray, harsh cleaners, abrasive surfaces, excess moisture, and prolonged direct sunlight, as resin and plated finishes can mark or dull over time.

Q: Are any extra items included with this piece?
A: No. This item is listed with no additional items included. Everything that comes with the piece is stated in the product information section.

Q: How do you authenticate vintage Chanel jewellery?
A: At A Retro Tale, vintage items are checked for authenticity by in-house experts. Assessment typically includes details such as materials, construction, markings, hardware, and overall finish.
