Q: Are these earrings for pierced ears or clip-on wear?
A: This pair has a post-back fastening, so it is designed for pierced ears rather than clip-on wear.

Q: What size are these Chanel earrings?
A: The earrings measure approximately 2 x 2 x 1 cm. This gives them a noticeable round silhouette while still being easy to wear.

Q: What are the main design details of this pair?
A: These vintage earrings feature a purple glitter cabochon, brass hardware and a cut-out Chanel logo. Their round shape gives them a bold yet versatile look.

Q: What condition are the earrings in?
A: They are listed in very good vintage condition with light traces of use. The hardware is shiny with light surface scratches consistent with careful wear.

Q: What product information is included with this item?
A: This pair comes with a box. Please refer to the product information section for the included item supplied with the earrings.

Q: How should I care for vintage Chanel costume jewellery earrings?
A: Apply fragrance, make-up and hairspray before putting them on, and keep them away from water, humidity and harsh chemicals. After wear, gently wipe them with a soft dry cloth and store them separately in a dry pouch or box to help minimise scratches and ageing.

Q: Will the brass finish change over time?
A: Like most vintage costume jewellery, brass and plated finishes can develop light patina, surface wear or subtle changes in shine over time. This is a normal part of ageing, and careful storage and gentle wear can help preserve the finish.

Q: How is authenticity assessed for vintage Chanel earrings?
A: Authenticity is not judged by a stamp alone. For vintage Chanel jewellery, experts usually assess the overall construction, finish, weight, materials and markings together, and this pair has been authenticated by A Retro Tale.

Q: Are these earrings suitable for regular wear?
A: Yes, they can be worn regularly, but gentler use will usually help preserve their finish for longer. For best longevity, avoid sleeping, showering or exercising in them.

Q: Where were these earrings made?
A: The country of origin label for this pair is France.
