Q: What are these Dior J'Adior earrings made from?
A: Dior fashion jewellery is typically crafted in antique gold‑finish metal with decorative elements. This pair features a gold‑tone finish with a dangling chain design, star motifs and the J'ADIOR signature, as described in our product information.

Q: Are they for pierced ears?
A: Yes. They have a push‑back (butterfly) closure and are designed for pierced ears only.

Q: What is the size and drop length?
A: Approximate measurements are 6 cm drop x 1 cm width x 0.2 cm depth. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact figures.

Q: Are the charms removable or the length adjustable?
A: No. The decorative stars and chains are fixed to the design and the drop length is not adjustable.

Q: How heavy do they feel when worn?
A: They are statement‑length earrings in metal. If you are sensitive to weight, we recommend shorter wear times at first. We are happy to provide the exact gram weight on request.

Q: Will the gold‑tone finish tarnish or fade?
A: Plated finishes can naturally wear over time, especially with contact from water, perfume, lotions or sweat. Minimising exposure and wiping the earrings after wear will help preserve the finish.

Q: How should I clean and care for them?
A: Wipe gently with a soft, dry, lint‑free cloth after each wear. Avoid jewellery dips, ultrasonic cleaners and harsh chemicals. Store them dry and separately in a pouch or box to prevent abrasion.

Q: Are they hypoallergenic or nickel‑free?
A: Dior fashion jewellery commonly uses a brass base with plating, and nickel content cannot be guaranteed. If you have sensitive ears, consider shorter wear times or a protective barrier product and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Q: What is included with my purchase?
A: Everything included is listed under product information. Unless specifically stated there, this listing includes the earrings only and does not include a Dior box or spare earring backs.

Q: What is the condition of this pair?
A: Very Good Condition overall. The gold‑tone hardware is shiny with light scratches from gentle previous use. Please review the photos for close‑ups.

Q: How are these authenticated?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, construction, hallmarks and logos. Dior pieces typically feature maker’s stamps on the earring backs or elements, but stamps alone are not definitive—our team examines the full set of details and stands behind the authenticity of all items we sell.
