Q: What does “Full Heart” mean in these Return to Tiffany earrings?
A: It refers to a three‑dimensional heart inspired by the iconic Return to Tiffany motif. Unlike flat heart tags, the hearts are cast into a rounded form and hand‑polished for a high shine, echoing the collection’s heritage dating back to the late 1960s.

Q: What are they made from?
A: Solid 925 sterling silver. Tiffany established the .925 sterling silver standard in the United States and continues to use this alloy for its silver jewellery pieces.

Q: Are they suitable for sensitive ears?
A: Sterling silver is generally considered a good choice for sensitive skin and is typically alloyed with copper rather than nickel. However, individual sensitivities vary; if you have a severe nickel allergy, we recommend a patch test or consulting a jeweller before prolonged wear.

Q: What type of closure do they have?
A: An integrated hoop closure for pierced ears. There are no separate butterfly backs to remove or lose.

Q: What is the size and how do they sit on the ear?
A: Approx. 3 × 2 × 0.5 cm. The hearts offer a noticeable yet wearable drop and a softly rounded profile. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for precise dimensions.

Q: Do these come with the original Tiffany box or pouch?
A: This specific item is listed with no accessories. Everything included is always stated in the Accessories section; if a dust bag or box isn’t listed, it is not included.

Q: Will sterling silver tarnish over time?
A: Yes—exposure to air, moisture, lotions and perfumes can cause natural tarnish. This is normal and can be removed with routine care.

Q: How should I clean and store them?
A: Clean gently in warm water with mild soap, rinse and dry thoroughly, then brighten with a quality silver polishing cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners on oxidised details, and remove before swimming or showering. Store completely dry in a soft, tarnish‑resistant pouch, away from humidity.

Q: Are these an in‑production style at Tiffany today?
A: Tiffany periodically updates the Return to Tiffany line and availability can vary by season and region. This is a vintage sterling silver pair authenticated by A Retro Tale.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate Tiffany jewellery?
A: Each piece is inspected by our specialists for metal composition, craftsmanship, and hallmarks (such as clear Tiffany & Co. and 925 stamps), and cross‑checked against known design and manufacturing details. We stand behind the authenticity of every item we sell.
