Q: Is this Céline Circle Logo Necklace authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What is it made from? Is it solid gold?
A: This is Céline fashion jewellery in a gold‑tone finish, typically plated over a base metal (often brass). It is not solid gold unless explicitly stated. Please review the close‑up photos and contact us if you’d like us to confirm any aspect of the composition for this piece.

Q: What are the measurements and how will it sit when worn?
A: The necklace perimeter is approximately 41 cm, which usually sits at the base of the neck like a classic collar/choker on most wearers. The circle logo pendants are listed at about 4 cm (height) x 4 cm (width) x 0.5 cm (depth) each. If you’d like the exact drop length or chain width, message us and we’ll measure it for you.

Q: Is the length adjustable? Can it be resized?
A: This chain is listed at approximately 41 cm with no built‑in extender. A jeweller can usually add a short extender or swap a clasp to fine‑tune the length. Any modification may affect originality and resale value—please ask us for guidance before altering.

Q: How does it fasten and is it secure?
A: Céline vintage necklaces typically use a spring‑ring or lobster clasp. Please refer to the close‑up images for the exact closure on this piece, or contact us and we’ll confirm. Always ensure the clasp is fully closed before wear.

Q: What hallmarks or stamps should I expect on a vintage Céline necklace?
A: Vintage Céline jewellery often carries a CELINE signature plaque and may include a country‑of‑origin stamp. Placement and format vary by era and model. Our listing photos show any stamps present on this necklace.

Q: Is it suitable for sensitive skin? Is it nickel‑free?
A: Fashion jewellery alloys and platings may contain nickel. If you have sensitivities, consider wearing it over clothing, applying a clear barrier product to contact points, and discontinue wear if any irritation occurs. We’re happy to advise further.

Q: How should I care for the gold‑tone plating and pendants?
A: Keep it dry and away from perfume, lotions, hairspray, hand sanitiser and cleaning chemicals. After wear, wipe gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Do not soak, use ultrasonic cleaners or chemical dips. Store it separately in a pouch/box to prevent scratches and minimise plating wear over time.

Q: Can it be repaired or replated if the finish shows wear?
A: A competent jeweller or specialist workshop can usually address clasp issues and perform gentle replating. Any restoration should be conservative to preserve originality; please contact us for reputable specialists.

Q: What condition should I expect, what is included, and can I return it?
A: This necklace is in Very Good Condition with light signs of careful wear possible unless noted otherwise. This listing includes no accessories unless specifically shown or stated. Returns are accepted under our standard policy—please see our Returns page for eligibility, timeframes and conditions, and ensure the item is returned in the same condition received.
