Q: What is this brooch made of?
A: This vintage Chanel CC brooch is crafted in gold‑tone metal and embellished with faux pearls plus clear and pink rhinestones, with a classic pin‑back closure. Please refer to the product information on this page for full details and measurements (approx. 3 × 4 × 0.8 cm).

Q: How should I wear and style it?
A: Brooches look best on structured fabrics such as blazers, coats, knit jumpers and tailored dresses. For scarves, fasten through the rolled edge or multiple layers so the fabric stays taut. Keep the brooch level and close the clasp fully to prevent tilting.

Q: Will the pin damage my clothes?
A: Any brooch pin will perforate fabric. To minimise marks, use denser weaves like wool, tweed or denim, pin through seams or lapels, and place a small felt backing inside the garment to spread pressure. For very delicate materials such as fine silk or chiffon, consider a magnetic brooch back or a brooch converter so you are not piercing the fabric directly.

Q: How do I care for the gold‑tone finish, pearls and rhinestones?
A: Wipe after wear with a soft, dry, lint‑free cloth. Avoid contact with water, soap, perfumes, lotions and cleaning chemicals. If the piece gets damp, gently blot dry and let it air dry completely before storing. Apply fragrance and cosmetics first, then put on your jewellery.

Q: How should I clean rhinestones and faux pearls safely?
A: Do not soak or submerge. Use a dry, soft brush or cloth to lift dust. If needed, lightly wipe the metal and pearls with a barely damp cloth, taking care to keep moisture away from the backs of rhinestones, then dry thoroughly. Avoid ultrasonic or liquid jewellery cleaners.

Q: How should I store this brooch?
A: Store it separately in a soft pouch or box to avoid scratches and crystal loss, away from humidity and direct sunlight. Do not let it rub against other jewellery when travelling—individually pouching is best.

Q: Are the pearls real?
A: Chanel’s fashion jewellery typically features high‑quality imitation (glass) pearls. This specific piece is described with faux pearls, which achieve the iconic Chanel look while remaining lightweight and easy to care for.

Q: How are Chanel brooches stamped and dated?
A: Many vintage Chanel brooches have an oval cartouche on the back stamped CHANEL and Made in France or Made in Italy; pieces from the 1990s onward may include a small season code (for example, 94A for Autumn 1994). Not all stamps look alike, and stamps can be copied, so construction, materials and finish are assessed together during authentication.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed under the product information on this page. This piece is delivered without extras unless stated there. If you need clarification, our team will be happy to help.
