Q: What size is this Hermès Carré 140 scarf?
A: This scarf measures approximately 140 x 140 cm. The Carré 140 format is an oversized square, making it ideal to wear as a wrap, shawl, draped scarf, or generously tied neck scarf.

Q: What material is the Hermès Carré 140 Della Cavalleria made from?
A: This is a cashmere and silk scarf. Hermès Carré 140 shawls in this category are known for combining softness, light warmth, and fluid drape, which makes them easy to wear across multiple seasons.

Q: What does the Della Cavalleria design refer to?
A: Della Cavalleria is part of Hermès' equestrian design universe. The motif draws on horse-riding and harness references, which is a recurring theme in the House's heritage and one of the reasons this design is so recognisable among Hermès collectors.

Q: How can I wear a 140 cm Hermès scarf?
A: A 140 cm scarf is one of the most versatile Hermès formats. It can be worn loosely over the shoulders, folded into a triangle and tied at the neck, wrapped around the upper body as a travel layer, or styled as a statement accessory with coats, knitwear, or eveningwear.

Q: Is this scarf warm enough for cooler weather?
A: Yes, a cashmere and silk Carré 140 offers more warmth than a classic silk carré while still feeling lightweight. It works especially well in autumn, winter layering, and cool spring days, without feeling overly heavy indoors.

Q: What is the condition of this scarf?
A: This item is in Very Good Condition. Please note that the current condition overview states that it is a little prickly. We recommend reviewing the product images and product information carefully if you are sensitive to texture.

Q: How should I care for a Hermès cashmere silk scarf?
A: Cashmere and silk scarves should be handled gently. To help preserve the fabric, avoid rough surfaces, excessive friction, perfume directly on the textile, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct heat. Specialist dry cleaning for delicate luxury textiles is generally the safest option, and the scarf should be stored flat or neatly folded when not in use.

For Hermès scarves, authentication typically involves checking the quality of the fabric, print precision, edge finishing, construction, and overall craftsmanship, all of which are important markers for genuine pieces.
