Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Neverfull PM?
A: With approximate measurements of 37 × 22 × 13 cm for this exact piece, the PM comfortably carries daily essentials: large smartphone, compact or continental wallet, keys, slim sunglasses in a soft case, a small cosmetics pouch and an A5 diary. A compact bottle may fit horizontally. Please compare your items with the Measurements shown or ask us for a tailored fit check for this bag.

Q: Will it fit a tablet or A4 documents?
A: Compact tablets (e.g., iPad mini/Kindle) typically fit. An 11‑inch tablet can often fit horizontally without a bulky case but may be snug; A4 documents/folders generally won’t lie perfectly flat in the PM due to the 22 cm height and tote taper. We’re happy to test specific devices for you.

Q: Is the PM comfortable on the shoulder?
A: Yes—Neverfull PM has dual flat shoulder straps. This piece has an approximate strap drop of 16 cm, which sits relatively high under the arm; over thick outerwear it may feel snug on some wearers. If you’d like on‑body photos or advice for your height/build, just ask.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody or adjust the straps?
A: The classic Neverfull PM does not include a long crossbody strap and the shoulder straps are not adjustable. It’s designed for hand, crook‑of‑arm or shoulder carry.

Q: How secure is the closure and what is the interior like?
A: The Neverfull features an open‑top design with a central hook/clasp for quick access. Inside you’ll typically find a red striped textile lining with one hanging zipped pocket to secure valuables. Side laces let you cinch the silhouette for a sleeker look—our photos show the exact layout of this piece.

Q: Should this model come with a detachable pouch?
A: Louis Vuitton added a removable pouch to Neverfull “New Model” bags around 2014. Earlier pieces may not include one, and many pre‑loved items are listed without accessories. This specific listing is sold with no accessories; anything included would be noted under Accessories.

Q: Is the classic Neverfull reversible?
A: The standard coated‑canvas Neverfull (like this PM) isn’t designed to be worn inside out. Louis Vuitton introduced special “Inside Out” versions in 2024 that are purpose‑built to be reversible. We don’t recommend flipping a classic Neverfull, as it may stress the leather and hardware.

Q: What materials is Damier Ebene made from and how should I care for them?
A: Damier Ebene pairs durable, lightweight coated canvas with dark, treated leather trim that’s more resistant to water marks than natural vachetta. Wipe canvas with a soft slightly damp cloth; avoid harsh chemicals. Keep leather away from oils and potential colour transfer (e.g., dark denim). Store upright, lightly stuffed, in a breathable dust bag, and avoid overloading to preserve shape.

Q: What do the side laces do? Do they change capacity?
A: The side laces are functional. Cinch them for a tapered, compact silhouette; release them for full tote capacity. Pull gently to avoid creasing the leather tabs and to maintain the bag’s structure.

Q: Will this bag have a date code or a microchip, and how do you authenticate it?
A: Authentic LV bags carry an interior heat‑stamp with the brand and country of origin. Pieces made roughly before March 2021 typically have a date code; LV began phasing in embedded NFC microchips around that time, so newer items won’t show a visible date code. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and date code/microchip era cues—we stand behind the authenticity of every piece we sell.
