Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Epi Soufflot?
A: With a cylindrical silhouette and approximate measurements around 30 × 14 × 14 cm, it comfortably holds a long wallet, smartphone, keys, a compact cosmetics pouch, sunglasses case, and a small water bottle or compact umbrella placed horizontally. Capacity varies with how you pack and the shape of your items. Q: Does this model come with a shoulder strap or crossbody option?
A: The classic vintage Soufflot is designed to be handheld with dual top handles and does not include a long shoulder strap. Newer Soufflot BB/MM versions (from 2020) feature a detachable strap, but the vintage cylindrical Epi Soufflot does not. ([bragmybag.com](https://www.bragmybag.com/louis-vuitton-soufflot-epi-bag/))

Q: Is a matching pochette included and how is it used?
A: This piece comes with a matching pochette as listed in the product information. It can be kept inside the main compartment for small essentials. Please refer to the product information and photos to see everything included with this item. Similar Soufflot listings often note a matching pochette. Q: Can I wear the Soufflot on the shoulder?
A: Most find the handle drop on the vintage Soufflot too short for true shoulder carry; it’s best carried in hand or in the crook of the arm. ([therealreal.com](https://www.therealreal.com/products/women/handbags/handle-bags/louis-vuitton-epi-leather-soufflot-uk3kv))

Q: How durable is Epi leather and is it water-resistant?
A: Epi leather is known for its structured resilience and scratch resistance. It handles light rain better than many smooth leathers, but it is not fully waterproof—wipe dry promptly if wet. ([us.louisvuitton.com](https://us.louisvuitton.com/eng-us/recommendations/louis-vuitton-epi-leather))

Q: How should I care for Epi leather?
A: Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt, avoid contact with oils and alcohol-based products (cosmetics, perfumes, sanitisers), and store stuffed in a breathable dust bag away from direct sunlight and humidity. Q: Where can I find the date code on this model?
A: On Soufflot bags with Alcantara lining, the date code is typically heat-stamped directly into the lining and can be tucked along a seam or near the pocket; with age, it may fade. Note that Louis Vuitton introduced embedded microchips on newer items from 2021, but vintage pieces like this usually have a stamped code. Q: Is the original cylindrical Epi Soufflot still produced?
A: The vintage cylindrical Epi Soufflot comes from an earlier collection and is not part of the current core range. Louis Vuitton revived the Soufflot name in 2020 with redesigned BB/MM versions that differ from the vintage cylinder.
